sumoroyal Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Brianna McNutt should be in there somewhere.
OpieTaylor Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Brianna McNutt should be in there somewhere. Hopefully whoever does the BGP rankings will do a little more homework. Sumo, maybe you should sign up for that gig.
Woodstock Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Brianna McNutt should be in there somewhere. They had to make room for all the other Mason County players
Tiger1 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 IMO: Maddy Kalb of Bracken Co should have been on this list of top returning players. She nearly averaged a double double last year.

All State Baseball Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Can you get me the 14th region team and player rankings? Thanks

Being the best player on your team shouldn't qualify you for this list. McNutt should be on the list. In addition, IMO, Igo is too high, Schwarber is too low. But otherwise the list is pretty decent.

These girls are putting up their numbers against girls that are on the list. Kara Moran from Mason gets no recognition either, but I'd easily take her over some of the Mason girls that do make all the lists.

So where did I mention that since Kalb is the best returning player on Bracken that it qualifies her to be included? I was using her overall play and stats from last season. Does those things qualify her to be on this list, you better believe it does.

Remember, she is a junior, playing with very solid players, who are all Seniors. I am sure she will get lots of love next year.
maysvilleky Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Brianna McNutt should be in there somewhere. Agree 100%

I was using her overall play and stats from last season. Does those things qualify her to be on this list, you better believe it does. Every team will score 30-60 points a game. And every team will usually have a player with 5-7 rebounds per game and a player or two average 10+ points a game. Just because your that player on your team doesn't make you better than other players on different teams with better players. That's why a team like Mason will have 3-5 players on a list like this. Being the best player on your team (averaging 8 rbs and 10 ppg) doesn't mean you should be on this list. Autumn Martin for Nicholas County averaged 14 ppg and 7 rpg so she "should make the list", Madison Kellione (sophomore guard Harrison County) averaged 12 ppg and 4 rpg so she "should make the list" too? Every team has those players, especially if there's a taller inside player (more rare) they just show up and they're going to lead the team in rebounds. Edited October 12, 2016 by hydraman Typo

hydraman Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Why should Schwarber be higher? I've seen all these girls play. So it is just my opinion. Schwarber is right behind Clos IMO (#5) when I look at this list. Igo is too high for the same reason I mentioned earlier with Kalb.
