In a heartbeat. Think about it like this....Hillary Clinton is largely considered one of the most hated politicians of all-time. Even so, a very large number of Republicans in Washington are openly against the Republican nominee. How pitiful of a candidate must Trump be that these guys and gals would rather the most hated politician of their lifetime be elected over Trump? He's the worst Presidential candidate of all time. In an election that should've been a landslide victory for the Republicans, he's managed to turn it into the polar opposite. A landslide victory for Hillary.

What is Trump going to accomplish with a house and senate so adamently against him. For the record I am voting for Gary Johnson, because I'm stubborn and could never vote for Hillary. But I think Hillary in the White House with a GOP legislature has much higher potential for getting bipartisan things accomplished. Trump can't executive action his way through the presidency like he thinks he is going to be able to do by burning so many bridges. I'm never Trump and never Hillary. America has shown over the past 4 years that a Republican in the White House was going to be likely considering the majority in congress and the senate. Trump has ruined any shot at the White House for the GOP.

October 11, 20169 yr The kids you describe are part of the problem in failing schools. Of course there would be vetting of prospective students. Otherwise, the public schools would dump their problems on to the voucher system and try to keep the better students in their failing classrooms. Much in the same way that some private schools dump their problem students on the public school system??? :thumb:

I'm as far from racist as one can be and I think Obama has been horrible as a POTUS due to his policies. Obmacare, shovel ready jobs, etc. I would say post #39 could definitely be interpreted that way... Sure, one cannot just broad stroke everyone who disapproves of Obama as being a racist, but what I have described is so often the true underlying basis of their objections though many won't say it outright in mixed company. If you're not one of them then it's not aimed at you, but acting like it's not the truth is a disservice to addressing the root of the problem. The real old adage here is resorting to your overused tired comeback that ignores reality while trying to discredit its legitimate acknowledgment

This isn't the 1960's anymore. To act like it is is a disservice to all of those that have worked so hard to this point to overcome racism. Does racism still exist, yes. Should we. continue to strive to eradicate it? Absolutely. Should we act like no progress has been made? No.
October 11, 20169 yr Much in the same way that some private schools dump their problem students on the public school system??? :thumb: When a kid acts up enough to get tossed from a private school, that school has no control over where the kid goes after that. They certainly cannot mandate that the parents send them to a public school. Very likely, the parents will try to find another private school that might accept the student, before sending their kid to a failing public.

And many are on record as saying they won't vote this year because the candidates are so bad. The voting problem we have in this country isn't voter fraud. It's voter apathy.
