Evidently I'm missing something when it comes to Lincoln and West Jessamine. Did some kids transfer in?

Both of em were put out pretty easy last postseason if i remember right. Lost some key players as well.

I didn't realize that both officially left Southwestern. I think SW is ranked too high without both Butt and Fitzgerald.

 

Southwestern still has Gover, Dykes, Cundiff, Stephens and Cromer came back out to the team. They are easily at worst the #2 team in the region in any 12th Region preseason rankings.

Both teams will be senior loaded and both teams bring back dynamic, proven scorers in Isaiah Okesson(West Jessamine) and Noah Young(Lincoln County). Not only are both teams senior loaded with players with loads of varsity experience but they are also two of the best coached teams in the region.

They both played teams that were better than them last season and neither team lost any players that will hinder success for this season.

I agree with a lot of this. West lost their leading scorer but returns a really good guard but no other really stand out players. Lincoln returns Young but really no one else that did anything last year. I know Boyle returns their two leading scorers and good guards but no one else that did anything last year. Mercer returns Trevon which is one of the best players in the 12th region and a lot of seniors with little varsity experience. I think Pulaski and SW going in to the season have the least amount of question marks. Everyone else only returns 1-2 players that did anything last year. Teams ranked 3-9 will all be relying on new role players that didn't play or produce much last year.

As of now they aren't healthy and without Gentry they drop a few spots. I know you said he may be back by December but it's also been said he'll be out for the year. We'll see what they have when he returns but they won't get the same love without him on the court.

This will be one fun season in the 12th. There are so many unknowns with all the departures from several teams. I just look forward to some basketball!

Remember the name Dalton Bruner for West Jessamine this year. The sophomore has electricity in his game and can score the ball. West will have a very nice team.

Unless something has changed Jared Southerland isn't playing basketball this year for Danville and he is a junior this year as well.
