Projected Lineups For 9th and 10th

Featured Replies

Just an assumption, obviously I am not Willie and I'm sure he won't be jotting down these thoughts but here goes.

Highlands

Nic Simpson Guard 6'2 JR

Greg McGraw Guard 6'2 JR

Scott Wise Center 6'6 SR

Drew Simons- SF 6'2 JR

Luke Stein- PF 6'3 JR

Bench- Zach Hurtt 6'2 JR , Micheal Eaton 6'2 JR, Stewart 6'2 JR, Dierig 6'7 SR , Josh Conner 5'11 Soph, Zach Lother 5'5 Soph.

Highlands should have a really good freshman class coming in as well.

A good suprise for mason county fans and i am suprised no one from maysville has brought this up is that Richie Cox is a pretty good basketball player in a couple pick up games at the YMCA he was shooting and driving to the whole well. This just wasnt against the cheering section guys who still dream of the chance to play either. Looks pretty good for the Royals with Miller, Scott, Browning, Middleton, Stahl, and Pawsat all returning. Mason also has good bench play including, Setty, King, Downing, Thompson. Its gonna be a great year in titletown baby!

Ritchie is what 6'3,But he is very strong has a set of guns on him.

I can't see this starting five, but that's why they practice. Stewart is a senior, Lother is a freshman, and unless they have a transfer, there is no Dierig on the team. Maybe you mean Wes Cruse.

You're right, I am sure he meant Cruse. Too many 6'2s And thats a stretch for a couple. This team will have to play defense like there is no tomorrow. I did not notice Ryan Ball on that list?

Right, Cruse... Ball was left off the list too.

Sandman...I don't claim to be the Schwab....so go ahead and lets hear your Projected 5. Thanks for the corrections though..

Okay Crunch... here is the revised list.

Simpson- 6foot

McGraw- 6 foot

Simons- 6'1

Stein- 6'1

Wise- 6'6

all others 6'1 and under.... : )

You forgot Tolle also. But how good is the sophomore class?

Last years freshman Regional champs good without Russ Middleton whom played varsity,The Soph class is very good but the Jr class is Great. This team will go 10 deep easily there 2nd 5 would probally be ranked in top 6 in the region

Another player who i believe will be very good this year and hasnt been mentioned is Ethan King and Trevor Setty whom both are about 6'3 guards.

Right, Cruse... Ball was left off the list too.

I don't know who the Schwab is, but I don't claim to be him either. I'd like to give you a projected starting five, but can't at this point, too many questions. Who ends up playing, who doesn't, etc.

I'd say Simpson, McGraw, and Wise are locks to start. After that, lots of questions.

Espn..Chris Berman.. The Schwab..... nevermind... I am not sure there are any locks outside of Simpson and McGraw.... I think for the month of December it will defiinitely be non-football players starting and as Malachi said earlier.... thats what practice is for so never want to sell anyone short.

Regardless, they have their work cut out for them.

Height doesn't have anything to do with the starters... because IF Pendleton wanted they can start with a Tall lineup.

Jermey Mudd- 6'1

Mark HIcky- 6'2

Bhishma Desai- 6'3

Kane Belcher- 6'7

Abrahm Crozier- 6'2

Doug Lambert- 6'2

And then they have some people under 6 foot but they are sharp shooters

If Jeremy Mudd is six one then Kane Belcher is seven two.:jump:

Should we just fast forward to March, and announce Mason as the regional (and probably STATE champs)?? Best in the Tenth and the 2nd 5 in the top six???? I'm guessing the third five would roll in the All "A", and most other regions?? :D

PS: It's only early September!!

Aww, the Schwammi...at least that's what I thought it was. Either way, thanks for the help.

And, Malachi didn't say that's why they practice, it was yours truly. I'm not very smart, so give me credit when I say something noteworthy.
