Not even close to what I'm saying. How does a situation like that end without a fatality, but these situations always end in a dead body? Is it a difference in training? Proximity?

They already stated that they recovered a gun.

 

Chief simply said the video does not confirm that a gun was pointed at the officer who shot the victim. Chief says the totality of the evidence, however, supports the shooting.

 

Family is seeing the video today. Not sure what they're going to get out of it based on the comments by the chief. They will still question the shooting.

I think this is the right thing to do for the family, but based on what the chief said I'm thinking this takes a step backward.

 

They are very firm on the book and the son getting picked up, I don't see a dark/blurry video changing their minds.

I'm with you completely. As far as things getting out of hand tonight, the only way that happens in my opinion is if the Guard isn't allowed to do what they were called in to do. Those dudes don't take well to violence being projected in their direction. They would have to be told to stand down for them to not just start rounding up and arresting rioters.
