I told the Mrs. this game could go either way.

 

Tates Creek is supposed to have good potential - that was shown tonight.

 

Scott County and Lafayette are still tops in 6A. But the Commodores maybe #3 if they can keep this up.

 

But Louisville and NKY seem to be stronger.

After HC played Ryle close (34-28) I thought they must be pretty tough in 6A. On the flip side, I saw the film of TC / Scott Co, and I watched Belfry destroy TC in a game where the running clock started at the 8 minute mark of the 2nd quarter. I thought Tates Creek was a very average 6A ball club, certainly not top 10.

 

Now TC destroys HC and I am baffled.

It tells me that for the 20th year in a row, if you're counting on Henry Clay to take a meaningful step toward the upper echelon of the class, then you're going to be continually disappointed.

Interesting result to say in the least. Don't know what this says about football in Fayette.

Fayette county has football teams and the top tier of 6a have football programs. They will always have great athletes which produces the up and down, you never know what you're going to get, any given friday boom or bust games

I think it's time for a change at Henry Clay. Coach Simpson needs to hand it over to somebody else.

Has Tates Creek settled on a QB yet?

 

Workman and Duby have split the duties in the Belfry and Dunbar games.

Lexington doesn't care about sports, they hired a guy to coach Dunbar that was like 6-34 and they gave him the job? No way TC should beat HC that bad NO WAY.

I think it's time for a change at Henry Clay. Coach Simpson needs to hand it over to somebody else.

 

One would think that. It's not like they don't have some talent and to be shut out and get clock ran on you for TC who isn't a world beater by any means.
