Fort Campbell High School & their football facility (off campus a bit) are BOTH in Tennessee.

Pikeville High School and Pike Central High stadiums are less than 4 miles from each other, but they haven't become natural rivals. Pike Central opened in the fall of 1993 with the consolidation of Johns Creek & Mullins. I am unsure if Pikeville played Pike Central in the years 93-97, but this years game is only the 2nd head to head contest since 1998 from available KHSAA stats. Last year Pikeville beat Pike Central 53-0 in the last game of the regular season.

Manual Stadium is reputed to be the oldest (1924) high school stadium in the state. Also, I believe UK played a game or games there.

My notes say Graves County's new stadium opened in 2007.

To my knowledge, Stadium of Champions in Hopkinsville is the only stadium shared in the state b/t two schools (in the same district and/or otherwise). Hoptown & Christian County. (**Pretty common practice in Texas. Which is why you see these monstrous places. Imagine if the money in Warren County Schools was combined for Greenwood, South Warren, Warren East & Warren Central...or Central Hardin, North Hardin and John Hardin. We'd have some in our state that looked Lone Star'ish, too**)

 

I know of private schools/public schools (ie: Newport & NewCath) that still do.

Dayton high school has the most northern football field in the state and probably some of the steepest stands.

Russellville is probably one of my favorite venues to learn about. Not only is the Stadium old school and cool, but they have the end zone with the raised surface in one corner if I recall
