Honestly to me, this is a toss up game! If Danville can get the ball in the air against the Boyle defense, look out. Dampier has proven to be lethal when he has time!! Will Boyle be lost without their playmaker on offense? It's hard for me to say the Boyle County will be 0-3?!? What? Crazy to think it could happen! I know Boyle will be pumped about this game, because they DO NOT WANT to be 0-3 with tough games looming after this one. IMO I think Danville will pull this one out in a barn burner!

Looking it up, the last time Boyle started 0-3 was in 2007, when they began the season 0-5! Since 1998 it is the only time it has happened to this perennial power!

I'm going with Boyle 35 to 21.

I picked Danville in the poll, but I will say this; if and it's a big "if" Boyle county can get Landon Bartleson going in this game added to the production they've been getting from upperclassmen, Boyle could then have enough offense to pull this out. I've watch Landon all the way through youth and in middle school and have a lot of confidence in his abilities. He may be a little behind Reese in his development, but I would argue that most of that is confidence. A big play or two from him in this game, could make a huge impact on this team going forward!

I would like to see some of these schools that have old rivalries such as this one consider playing them on Saturday so more fans of other schools could attend.

Danville beat a pretty good 5A team in Southwestern. I think they win 28-21.

Boyle wins 27-24. In overtime. It's going to be crazy. You gotta be there.

I think this can be a great game. I remember last year there was a feeling Danville would win and they got beat at the line of scrimmage as Dampier never was able to get comfortable to access his weapons. If Dampier gets time to make passes then there will be problems for Boyle County.

 

I'm curious to know how past success at the little league and middle school level with this current group of kids has played out in the past. I wonder if that could have a mental affect on either team. Does anyone know past results?

 

Hmmm.

Danville only has four Seniors on this years team, so I'd think any match-ups in the past probably went Boyles way. Mainly because of sheer numbers.

I can't find anything from anyone. Folks must have deleted their tweets. I know parents have been making unsubstantiated claims on Facebook that had to be refuted. I swear the adults make things worse than the kids do. It gets old. Same old thing every year.
