Is D.J. Hall hurt? He didn't play any QB and only came in at the very end of the game as a RB for two carries, both losses. He was a starter on the freshman team at QB and safety yet I didn't see him on special teams or defense either. He is one of just a couple of sophmores on the varsity roster. Whats the story?

I believe #13 did miss his first, I could be wrong. But even if he did miss it, that would be alright with me, this kid is a freshman, and by the looks of the PAT that he did make, he has some real potential for having only played high school football for several months. Im not sure what Glasers plans are, but Id say that its a safe bet that he'll dress Fern Creek.

Think! The score at half time was 40-0! the final was 47-0!

I don't know if he is hurt. Don't believe so. But think about it, do you really expect a soph. to play both ways in his second varsity game? There are about 100 Sr and Jr players in front of him. They are trying to get all the kids in the game when the opportunity arises. He did great as a frosh, now he will have to watch and learn from the sidelines and be happy with the reps he gets. It is an honor to get a varsity jersey at St X as a sophomore. He can learn a great deal just being part of that on Friday nights. Any game time is a bonus. He has a bright future...be patient.

He has been injured and has missed a lot of practice. This was his first game back. Look for him to be worked in at wide receiver.

He and Finch were mentioned in the same breath as freshmen. Deuce out gained Anderson week one. He played in the first quarter against LC. They both seemed on the fast track last year. I just wondered what happened to him?

It's time for you to move on from this X thread, and start one of your own about your beloved pebbles (maybe you can talk to yourself for 10 pages).

These childish antics are getting old and bring nothing to the topic.

I keep remembering how bad I felt after two years ago and this wasn't nearly as bad considering we were playing our first game under a new head coach, new offensive coordinator and a quarterback who only threw twelve passes in his career to date. In 2004 we had an all state quarterback and couldn't do better. I think this will prove to be the best team X has had in recent years if Vic can stay healthy. LexCath will be all right but they need to tighten their chinstraps and get down to business the next two weeks. Thanks for the wakeup.

You mentioned all the changes from last year's team, but you still have tons of talented kids.In your opinion, are the talents being properly utilized?Have the schemes on offense changed drastically? How about the defense?

While I may agree with you on some points. You sure have nerve considering your camp has a number of neophytes this season that are every bit his equal. Who died and left you "guru"? If anyone breaks a rule, report it. If you don't care for someone's posts...ignore them. I'll tell you whats getting old... no wait, I'll just ignore it.

It looks like I've finally achieved star status. Your venom for me is almost as strong as that for Victor Anderson and DJ Hall. Time for a cold shower. :D

For those still discussing DJ Hall and the X-Lex Catholic game, he still has a high ankle sprain from the Oldham County scrimmage but they wanted to get him some game hits in again. He should be healthy next week. He will be a talent for years to come. At Safety, X has Barito, Nate Coombs( I think back this week) and Cody Allgier so breaking in there is tougher than back up RB behind Victor. The junior RB got moved to receiver( Simmons ) so the backup is Deuce. It is all about opportunity and DJ will get time somewhere. Good kid.

Another thread ruined by the folks that think X and T are the only two programs in the state! Why don't you just start a X/T spitting contest thread that way you don't jack all other threads the rest of the year. This isn't for any one person just the ones that constantly ruin threads when they aren't even about their team.
