Final

Boyle looked better than I thought they would. Even with a L I feel better about this season than I did when I woke up this morning. It was a heck of a game to watch. Worth every minute of sitting in the rain.

Real good game. Defense ruled the day.

Good Game. Hate losing. Boyle has promise. Blocked XP on OT. Ouch

Congrats to North on winning the game, but IMO the best team didn't win tonight.

Any chance Boyle starts the season 0-2? I don't know much about Lafayette but I seen their score from last night.

It's very possible.

Cool, looking forward to watching some high school football next weekend. I skipped out this weekend in favor of professional wrestling :lol2:

Boyle didn't do anything special to say the best team didn't win. They both struggled on offense, and both teams played good defense. North Hardin didn't go to that tall receiver enough. Boyle will still be very good coming down the stretch. Their defense is small but physical.

I'm not sure if Boyle was better than I thought or North Hardin wasn't as good as I thought. Nevertheless it was an entertaining game.

When the game went into overtime I didn't like our chances being so young. I thought the Rebels played hard and showed improvement from the Madison Central scrimmage. Some Boyle freshman seen a ton of action tonight and getting this experience come district time will make Boyle a better team. We more than likely will take some lumps this year but the future looks really good.

The future for Boyle County looks promising. A lot of young players getting playing time and competing with this solid 6A team. Good job Rebels!

Lafayette is at worst the third best team in 6A and easily one of the top 10 teams in the state overall.

My sources say yes. Lafayette is loaded. 5 Star athlete at QB committed to Kentucky and another 5 star Tackle on their line with offers from everywhere including Bama. I think another lineman is getting some attention as well.
