Does Mercer have their new turf field done at Harrodsburg's old field and will the games be played there?

 

I believe it is grass but I could be wrong. The games will be at Alvis Johnson Field which is Harrodsburg's old field. Great venue for football.

Watched a lot of games there,I like it a whole lot better than Mercer.

Bermuda surface. It is the same guy that took care of our field at Mason, and we are 2 hours further south. The surface should be very good.

I remember many a classic Boyle vs Harrodsburg match at that field. Of course that was a "long, long time ago; in a galaxy far, far away." :sssh:

The surface looks great Coach has well has the bleachers. All new Bleachers and surface as well has the track. Glad to see the games played at the Alvis Johnson field.

After watching the scrimmage and with this Rebel team being young, one would have to say N. Hardin. But we all know what Coach Smith can do. Boyle defense looks pretty good at stopping the run but as always the pass defense has some questions. The O looks like the place that the Rebs will start slow. But by the time the middle of the season rows around they will be ok. Could see the Rebs opening the season 1-3 or even 0-4. But I am going with my Rebels in this one.

I remember watching games between Boyle and Harrodsburg at Alvis Johnson field since the mid to late 70's.

I'll say BCHS 24-21 but it's gunna be a tough game for the young Rebels.

North Hardin

My head says North Hardin but my heart says Boyle County. Go Rebels!

I see that North much like Boyle was hit heavy at the skilled positions by graduation losing their top 3 receivers and starting running back from last years team so both teams are going to have to depend on younger inexperienced players to step up this season.
