The thing about this player that is most impressive is his speed. Ran a 4.73 laser this summer at 241 pounds.

Congrats to this young man. Toledo has been very active lately. Got a commit from a nice WR up in Springboro too. They saw my son at a UC camp and asked him come up to Toledo for their camp in June. Called and offered him 15 minutes later on the way home from camp.

Holy Cross has a few big guys sporting those 20's. Congrats, I can only imagine how dominant he is at the AA level.

He also ran a 4.5 at the Ohio state camp.

He had an offer from WKU from Brohm this summer so he probably offered it from Purdue once he got there is my guess.

Correct. Derrick is committed to Toledo right now, but he is still highly considering Purdue.

Purdue offers a great education, a more marketable diploma, and the challenge of playing in one of the top conferences in the country. But, best wishes for finding the program that fits best for him. Good luck Derrick!
