He is from Covington. Grew up in Covington. His family went to Holmes. He went to Holmes his Freshman year and had to sit out his Sophomore year because he transferred.

Abernathy is from Cincy lived in both NKY & Cincy but played his peewee ball in Cincy until the 7th grade where he played @ HC then he played for the BT in the 8th grade. They played against each other in peewee ball but didn't know each other. They became friends thru AAU bball & the rest is Holy Cross history...

There is a Holy Cross High School in Louisville also...

Abernathy and Williams are both talented enough to play at the next level. I hope they both find an opportunity they like.

They have been friends since they were 7 and like family since middle school. I can't wait to see what the future brings for these 2.

Yeah I know there's a Louisville Holy Cross I guess I just expect these recruiting services to do their homework.
