Featured Replies

Happened at 10:30pm local time in Ansbach - a Bavarian city of about 40,000 near Nuremberg. The explosion outside a local music festival killed the bomber, and seriously injured 12 others. Bomber has been identified as a 27 year old Syrian refugee who had been turned down when seeking asylum in Germany.

Video found on a cell phone in the bomber's apartment showed him pledging allegiance to ISIS.

And to think Hillary wants to bring in 700,000 more of these savages to the U.S.

So being from Syria makes you a savage?

Just crazy, scary stuff.

Growing up, American high school students that lived on the Ansbach base were bussed in to my high school in Nurnberg.

"Ansbach, with about 40,000 people, is a major U.S. military garrison town, with around 5,000 members of the military living there along with civilians, contractors and retirees. There are three military installations in the Ansbach area, according to the garrison's website. "

Yep... Proving my point on almost a daily bases.. Rapes, murders, bombings, kidnapping, slavery, etc. No possible way to properly vet that many "refugees" which are mostly 18 to 30 year old men of fighting age...

The majority of US citizens are overweight. Should I assume that, hailing from the US, you and your whole family are all a bunch of giant fatties?

You speak in absolutes, and that makes it awfully hard to take anything you say as true.

Despite what you might want to believe, the majority of the world does believe this about the US.

My wife's friends from the UK refer to the US as "The Land Of Free Refills And Super-Sized Menus". :lol2:

When I was abroad in Shanghai I was told I was fat, but that it was considered a good thing. Wanted to move there instantly lol.

Where did you get the 700,000 number?

I believe the US is committed to bringing in less than 10,000 and only a couple thousand have been allowed in so far this year.

Regardless of what the number is, my viewpoint is changing on this issue. I'm becoming more conservative wanting to allow only fully and thoroughly vetted immigrants into the US. Maybe that is what is happening already since so few have actually been allowed into the country so far. I am still in favor of allowing immigrants in as long as they are vetted in a way that we are confident they are not linked to Isis.

I also think the immigrants should be kept separate from the U.S. population while they are being screened and vetted. If it takes a year or two before the process is completed, so be it.

One more thing, prayers will be led by an American Imam

Currently vetting is happening while the refugees live in encampments well outside the US. It currently takes 18+ months to be cleared for immigration to the US.

The head of the CIA , FBI and Homeland Security have all been quoted recently saying we have no way to properly vet Syrian refugees with 100% guarantee.

I'd say that there's less than a 100% guarantee that current American citizens are on the up-and-up. Just a guess, though.
