July 15, 201610 yr This thread makes me miss both Manyet's in Newport and Wiedemann's in Ft. Thomas! Manyet's had radio rolls that were to die for and every year, my mom got me an orange chiffon cake from Wiedemann's for my birthday. I miss both so much! My favorites doughnuts are chocolate or white long johns! I hate any type of cream or jelly filled doughnuts! :yuck: Miss Shirley's in A-town is da bomb!
July 15, 201610 yr I don't have children, but I couldn't imagine picking my favorite between them being more difficult than answering this question. Probably just a fresh, glazed donut if we're talking everyday eatability. I love lemon-filled every once in a while though.

July 15, 201610 yr Original Glazed from Krispy Kreme. When these are hot "The Sign Is On" they are hard to beat. Those along with glazed from Sugar Shack here in Somerset are my favorites. Cake donut with Chocolate icing would be #1 non glazed.
