I think it's more funny and hyperbolic that someone would suggest any president would go to war with Mexico. Mexico buckles at any demand we give because they need us more.

I have been feeling down the last two days so please forgive if I already mentioned this in the past day.

 

An honest question, Should Trump and the right just leave this go and move on? The reason that I ask is this morning I was talking to a person that is a minority, they were telling me how they are fed up with what they heard about what Trump said at his Cincy rally and what some of the pundits on TV are carrying on.

 

The person was telling me that since Hillary was cleared of any charges, and that Trump and the right wing pundits are still calling for her to be charged, as well as that now the R's are talking about investigating the investigation, they told me that they can relate to Hillary now more than ever, as she was cleared, but "the man" is still trying to bring her down.

 

If a number of minorities see this the same way as the person I know sees it, it seems as if they may relate to her as a victim of a rigged system trying to bring down someone who was found to not have committed a crime.

 

Even though I'd never vote for him, personally I'd want Trump to start talking specifics on what he would do as president, specifics on what his policies and all would be than to just go on about how the system is rigged.

Agreed. And maybe he knows this and why he may never stop?

 

But what about the minorities who will never vote for him, the ones who otherwise may not even go out to vote for the other candidate?

@SportsGuy41017, your friend needs to look back over the history of the Clinton's shady dealings and how they have been able to slip by justice in so many cases. They have lied to the American people on many occasions, been caught in bald-faced lies, and yet suffer little to no consequences. They rig the system to work for them. They quibble over the definition of some pretty tiny words, like "is", when avoiding having to tell the truth under oath. They lie when something really bad happens on their watch because of their actions or inaction (Benghazi) and when they are caught in it, they deflect and hope it can be forgotten.

 

I can't say she did something that can be prosecuted in the email scandal, I have to defer to the FBI and the Justice Dept., but it stinks because what she did was totally irresponsible, and if not criminally negligent, was certainly a dereliction of duty. Then she tried to hinder the investigation of it by delaying turning over evidence and by destroying evidence. She is not innocent in this. They just don't have enough to prosecute, supposedly.

 

Her spouse met with the top justice official just prior to the announcement of the FBI findings. Was he trying to influence the outcome or get inside information about the way it was looking? This, too smells. What average minority has that kind of access to power and can keep side-stepping the law? Mrs. Clinton's case does not compare in any way to the average minority who finds him/her -self before a judge. Her situation reeks of the fat-cat wealthy attorney who has all the right connections to get away with whatever she chooses.

 

Your friend is looking at this completely in the wrong way.

 

Regarding Trump talking specifics: I, too, want to hear this. But for me, when he has in the past, I don't like what he says.

Comey was asked if she lied under oath, he said "Not to the FBI."

When asked about her lying under oath to Congress he said "they didn't look into that."

Asked "Do you need a referral from Congress to investigate that?"

Comey said, "Yes"

"You will have one within a few hours"

 

So it looks like her committing perjury and lying to congress will now be investigated...I would have thought the FBI would have already looked at that, but evidently they needed a Congressional request to look into that.
