The 30 for 30 Believeland film is reason enough to think the Cavs will win. I believe in reverse jinxes like that. I knew when they did the I Hate Laettner film Duke would win it all. Just the way it works.

I vote no. I'm guessing it comes in game 3.

Warriors in 5 or 6. I think a healthy Cleveland team last year possibly could of beaten the Warriors. But the series created the adjustments of the Warriors small ball lineup of Draymond at the center. Cleveland does not have a lineup to match i . It will eat Cleveland apart .

 

I was at the Warriors/Cavs game in Cleveland earlier this year and it was a massacre and the one in GS wasn't much better.

 

If Clay Thompson continues what he did in OKC series it could get ugly quick.

Kyrie is a much, much better overall scorer than Westbrook. Westbrook is a ridiculous athlete but Kyrie can finish and shoot better than he can. He also is a better dribbler/takes way better care of the ball.

 

Will be fun to see how well the Warriors will protect the rim when LeBron is driving with 4 shooters outside of him. Cavs in 5/6, more than likely 6.

I like your thought behind your pick, though I think it'll take 7. GS is a really good team and ESPN and the NBA stand to make too much money to cut this series short.

Kyrie really statistically hasn't played much differently than when LeBron came. Only difference is that he plays without the ball more and can focus on what he does best and that is scoring. Westbrook is too inconsistent with his shot and Kyrie is a pure scorer and doesn't get by on athleticism only like Westbrook.

 

When it comes to taking care of the ball Westbrook has more than double the amount of turnovers Kyrie has this post season (78 to 33 unless my math is wrong, but in that area). This area is the only way I see LeBron impacting Kyrie's game because he doesn't have the ball as much.

I think Cleveland has better chances this year, but don't know if it will be enough. Cleveland must win at least one of the first two games. If they don't, I could see it being over in five, maybe six if they are lucky. Two more things they must do is defend Clay Thompson well and win on the boards. If Thompson does anything like he did against OKC, things could get ugly very quickly for the Cavaliers.

 

I hope Cleveland wins, but it will be a tall order IMO.

Russ is the best foul line jump shooter in the league this side of CP3 and he gets that shot whenever he wants it. I don't have any statistics to back that up and I don't really want them.

 

He takes bad shots more than one might consider ideal, but the payoff is he's good enough to make enough of them that you tolerate it a little.

 

Second paragraph was about usage rate where Russ lead the league this season on a team with Kevin Durant.

 

Also, I've never been a "rings trump everything" guy, but where's Kyrie's scoring title?
