I think most agree that when it comes to picking the favorite in Pro Sports, Vegas is pretty good at doing it.

Just heard on ESPN that James' teams have been the betting Under Dog in all but two of the finals he has reached. So while he may not be able to say he didn't have enough help yearly, in nearly every year he also didn't have the BEST TEAM either.

I assume the two times he has been favored was his first and third years in Miami. Dallas and San Antonio, respectively. It is a bit deceiving in the NBA because it is also has to do with home court advantage when you are establishing a betting favorite. With the exception of last year and his first appearance, I think his teams have been around the same caliber.

LeBron had Home Court Advantage in 2011 and 2013 going 1-1 in those finals.

Did not have Home Court Advantage in 2007, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 going 1 and 3 so far.

In the Lebron Finals Era only in 2011 and 2012 did the team with Home Court lose the NBA Finals (Heat '11, Thunder '12)

Only in 2011 and 2012 did the betting Favorite Lose (Heat '11, Thunder '12)

So to Bugatti's point, the favorite has been the team with home court in all but 2 of the last 10 Finals

Cleveland Cavalieeeeeeerrrrrssss!!!!

Let's go Cavs!!!

Great start. Dubs should be up double digits, but unforced TO's keeping Cleveland close.

Let's keep game discussion in the other thread and not over-populate this thread.

Golden State is crazy deep.

Cavs aren't going to shoot 38% again though. I think LeBron should have went to the free throw line more than he did but no use in whining about officiating,

I think Cleveland takes game two, or they need to at least. For all the turnovers they committed they were lucky they didn't give up more points off them. They're going to have to shoot the ball better and take better shots (Looking at you Kyrie). They looked lost on offense. LeBron needs to either hire a shot coach or not shoot.

If they continue to defend Curry and Thompson like they have been, GS role players won't keep rolling the way they are, I hope anyways.

I hope the Cavs win the next three, and close it out in 5 or 6.

Game 2 is a must win for Cleveland if they want any prayer of a chance to win the series.

And in two weeks he won't have enough help.

Only took until game two to start.

When Kyrie is guarding a Warrior that player is shooting 78%.

Bad stat. He's never close enough to a Warriors player to be considered defending them.

I understand the K-Love is out for tonight's game. I am sure many are not that upset.
