Casey Anthony's lawyer admits she killed daughter Caylee, investigator says

Featured Replies

More than five years after a jury in Florida cleared Casey Anthony in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, a private investigator claimed the mom's attorney admitted she killed the girl and hid her body.

Dominic Casey made the claim in court documents that went public last month in Casey Anthony's bankruptcy case. He also suggested that the mom paid her lawyer with sex.

The lawyer also admitted she paid him in sex.

I'm absolutely shocked...said no one.

But can she still be brought back to court?

Don't think so. Double jeopardy, right? She was already found not guilty of murder. Can't be tried for it again.

Correct.

But like our friend the JUICE, could she be brought back for another charge in relation to the murder?

O.J. was sued in a civil trial after his criminal trial ended with not guilty. He was never brought up on additional charges in criminal court.

I'll never forget where I was when this verdict came down, but I didn't realize it was five years ago. What I would give for a time machine...

To clarify, the lawyer has not admitted this but a private investigator has said that the lawyer told him. Still, total scumbag and I'm relieved to know he'll never practice law again.

But can she still be brought back to court?

If they cannot produce a body, but could produce some testimony that there was tampering with evidence, then maybe. It would still seem to be circumstantial.

She can't be tried for the same crime again, right?

That's actually what I was asking about this case. Just couldn't find the right words......cause I'm gettin' old.
