I think they would very very hard pressed to bring charges against her for anything related to the murder. My understanding is that the protection against Double Jeopardy is fairly broad.

She was convicted of a handful of misdemeanors regarding giving false information to the police. That's all folks. They can't touch her for anything related to her daughter now.

I don't think it haunts her in the least bit. Some people just have no conscience.

 

Right. Weren't pics or videos shown on news reports of her partying during and after the search for the daughter?
