May 27, 201610 yr Author I was halfway asleep last night when this came on TV, and I'm too busy to worry about it today. But I'll say this, who is upset at it? If they are Native Americans, even if it's just one of them, then it's a bigger issue. If not then it's still an issue about Trump acting like an 8 year old calling people names. Again, I have no idea who is upset and don't care right now, but he does need to change how he speaks towards and about people, he is the republican nominee, I would hope that he starts to act like it and grow up a bit. On a side note, I am all for two, possibly three debates with the two nominees, I'm sorry but no more are needed, heck one long one would be bests. I really hope in the future that the republicans will only have at the most 5 or 6 candidates, which would result in less debates, as 17 candidates and how many debates did they have? About 10! Then then about 10 debates for the "undercard"? Too many. Even as a dem I say this, you have people like Paul who never had a chance in any of the debates, people like Lipton Bash would have like to not only hear Paul get the opportunity to speak, but also allow the viewers to hear him as well, heck, I'd like to hear him more. But they kind of treated Paul as an outsider not worthy of their time. I'd much rather listen to Paul and have Paul as the republican nominee, and even president way more than Trump. In my honest opinion this is how I see it playing out. It will be Hillary defeating Trump, the Republican Party reorganizes, then if they are smart, they would put a person such as Paul up on top, maybe one other as well, but not more than one other. They need to do this very soon after the election, and stay behind the one or two people for the next 4 years pushing them and grooming them for the 2020 election. If they would do it this way I can see someone like Paul being a serious threat in the general election, as well as being the change that the republics want and need. I seriously think that Paul was railroaded! I also think that had the party got behind a person like Paul in the beginning, that he would have been the nominee this year. Although I am a dem, if Paul was president I would feel MUCH better than I would Trump. And a Paul/Kasich ticket just may have been one that many moderates would get behind. Please see the Bolded, above and please refrain from disparaging railroad workers by using the term railroaded in a derogatory manner. Because if even one of them is offended....
May 27, 201610 yr Trump's way of striking back is unconventional, I agree. But this is not a conventional election cycle. What does your photo purport to show? I see A dark haired, dark skinned, person who is dressed like a woman and with what may be a reporter's credential around her neck. But to be PC, I cannot take for granted that that she identifies as a woman, I certainly cannot make any judgement regarding her ethnicity and without being able to actually read the credential, I cannot assume what may be written on it. So please, enlighten me as to what your purpose is in posting this photograph. I was hoping you would make a bigger fool of yourself by your response to the photo. Thank you for making my case.
May 27, 201610 yr Author I was hoping you would make a bigger fool of yourself by your response to the photo. Thank you for making my case. Nice try. But sorry, posting the photo was your mistake. You assumed that because the reporter looked a certain way, then she must be Native American. I exposed you and now you try to run for cover. Not working, but again, nice try.

Read it at your leisure, then report back to the class with what you learned. Iksokapi Magazine >> Nicole Robertson
May 27, 201610 yr Who are you to decide what is a "proper way" to go after someone that has lied? Mr. Weasel could have just called her Lyin' Liz instead of using the offensive slur.

Iksokapi Magazine >> Nicole Robertson If at first you don't succeed....keep trying "son". You erred by posting the picture, thinking it reinforced your argument by proving she was Native American. The picture proved nothing, your hypocrisy was exposed and you were embarrassed. I understand...but just own it.
May 27, 201610 yr This thread really took a hard right. To further discuss...people who are offended/oppressed protest and often get violent. Normally it is liberals because they are on the side of the minority (not speaking of any ethnic or racial connotations). Conservatives by nature want things to stay the same or go back to how they were. They fight progress for wrong or right, so really I know some of you are trying to peg liberals as a bunch of nuts, because they participate in active rallies, but it's just the nature of politics. You have to remember many violent liberal protests spurred necessary change in this nation. I would start with the Revolution.

May 27, 201610 yr Could you give some examples of the necessary change led by liberal protests? Abolitionists Civil Rights in the 1960's Off the top of my head.

That was not begun by Liberals, who are all for taxing, confiscation and government control. It was begun by Patriots who were tired of being taxed and controlled by a domineering and oppressive government. The Liberals of that day were called Loyalists.

May 27, 201610 yr Who's being oppressed? All the ILLEGALS. See with the Liberals, Right equals wrong and wrong equals right.
May 27, 201610 yr Embattled is a code word for something I'm sure to be offended by .. Why I'm gonna call my congressman , or congresswoman , depending on what he/she identifies with today !
