Liberals Rioting

Featured Replies

Damage already has been done. Donald Trump, the GOP nominee to be leader of the free world, got lectured yesterday in North Dakota for calling Sen. Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas." So let's add Native Americans to the list of minorities insulted by Mr. Weasel.

He didn't insult Native Americans, he told the truth about Warren.

Seems the truth get a lot of you on the Left angry.

My guess is the lady off camera who told Trump his Pocahontas remark was offensive is a Native American herself, given the fact that this exchange took place in North Dakota. Trump may be a weasel but he ain't no idiot. The more he goes after minority groups, the more support he picks up from embattled white males.

Assuming that a lady is a Native American simply based on what state she is currently in? Sounds like you have solid information behind your assumption.

Also, are you implying that white males, in general, enjoy and support "going after minority groups?" Seems like a pretty broad brush you are painting with?

Trump enjoys going after minority groups, which delights a lot of "embattled" white males.

The reporter's name is Nicole Robertson and she is indeed Native American. Here's a link (at bottom) that includes a photo of her and a recap of her exchange with Trump over the offensive Pocahontas remark.

I'm surprised Trump didn't have his bodyguards throw her out of the press conference like he did with the Univision reporter.

Hardly an embattled white male here. You should really pay attention to my family make up which I have posted on here several times.

Why do you completely ignore the fact that Warren lied?

Wait, I know, because she is a Liberal.

Trump enjoys going after minority groups, which delights a lot of "embattled" white males.

I never disputed that the person who asked the question was Native American. I simply brought up the fact that you assumed she was a Native American because she was from North Dakota, which sounds like pretty dumb reasoning the more I type it.

Secondly, this has almost nothing in common with the ordeal that happened at Univision. If you remember, which it doesn't seem like you do, after trump responded to the question from the Univision reporter, the reporter repeatedly interrupted Trump, which resulted in the Univision reporter being removed from the event. If Ms. Robertson had continually interrupted Mr. trump after her question was answered, then I would see no issue with her being removed.

Also, who are you referring to as an "embattled white male." Are you trying to use embattled as a way describe conservatives? The term "embattled" doesn't really signify any party affiliation or ideology, so when you say "embattled white males" are delighted by Trump going after minority groups, you are speaking about the liberal "embattled white males" as well.

To be fair, those guys had no intention of injuring anyone like the Trump protesters did and the Bundy ranch guys did not do so. What they did see was a department of the government using intimidation and heavy handed tactics to silence peaceful protesters from excercising their right to protest. While I despise the freeloader Bundy and disagreed with the view of those supporting him, I none the less support their right to peacefully protest which they tried to do at first.

I understand that they had no intention but came armed to the teeth and if you have seen the devastation they left at the refuge, well, it's hard to see them as all that honorable in their actions.

I wonder if the reporter was offended when Elizabeth Warren lied about being native American? Posing as a member of my minority group to gain political clout would be far more offensive to me if I were Native American.

And the Pocahontas comment had nothing to do with Native Americans. He was ripping Elizabeth Warren for lying about her heritage, not native Americans.

It is a sad state in our country that someone is offended by everything.

The reporter may or may not be Native American. Reporters sometimes make things up, like Katie Couric and Dan Rather, and falsely claiming to be of a particular race for personal gain, like Rachel Dolezal and Elizabeth Warren, is not uncommon among those that lean to the left as most reporters do.

Elizabeth Warren's statement about her Native American heritage is fair game. There are proper and improper ways for Trump to go after her. Trump, however, doesn't have a clue as to what's proper and what's improper. Hence, he was called out by Nicole Robertson of the Cree nation and a credentialed reporter. Who are you to decide what is a "proper way" to go after someone that has lied?

Like Hillary Clinton...what's the proper way to address her lies?

Trump's way of striking back is unconventional, I agree. But this is not a conventional election cycle. What does your photo purport to show? I see A dark haired, dark skinned, person who is dressed like a woman and with what may be a reporter's credential around her neck. But to be PC, I cannot take for granted that that she identifies as a woman, I certainly cannot make any judgement regarding her ethnicity and without being able to actually read the credential, I cannot assume what may be written on it. So please, enlighten me as to what your purpose is in posting this photograph.

I was halfway asleep last night when this came on TV, and I'm too busy to worry about it today. But I'll say this, who is upset at it? If they are Native Americans, even if it's just one of them, then it's a bigger issue. If not then it's still an issue about Trump acting like an 8 year old calling people names.

Again, I have no idea who is upset and don't care right now, but he does need to change how he speaks towards and about people, he is the republican nominee, I would hope that he starts to act like it and grow up a bit.

On a side note, I am all for two, possibly three debates with the two nominees, I'm sorry but no more are needed, heck one long one would be bests. I really hope in the future that the republicans will only have at the most 5 or 6 candidates, which would result in less debates, as 17 candidates and how many debates did they have? About 10! Then then about 10 debates for the "undercard"? Too many.

Even as a dem I say this, you have people like Paul who never had a chance in any of the debates, people like Lipton Bash would have like to not only hear Paul get the opportunity to speak, but also allow the viewers to hear him as well, heck, I'd like to hear him more. But they kind of treated Paul as an outsider not worthy of their time. I'd much rather listen to Paul and have Paul as the republican nominee, and even president way more than Trump.

In my honest opinion this is how I see it playing out. It will be Hillary defeating Trump, the Republican Party reorganizes, then if they are smart, they would put a person such as Paul up on top, maybe one other as well, but not more than one other. They need to do this very soon after the election, and stay behind the one or two people for the next 4 years pushing them and grooming them for the 2020 election. If they would do it this way I can see someone like Paul being a serious threat in the general election, as well as being the change that the republics want and need.

I seriously think that Paul was railroaded! I also think that had the party got behind a person like Paul in the beginning, that he would have been the nominee this year. Although I am a dem, if Paul was president I would feel MUCH better than I would Trump. And a Paul/Kasich ticket just may have been one that many moderates would get behind.

Thank you for this information. A I said in my last post I was halfway asleep when this came on tv about this last night, and I was wondering "who" asked him and "who" was offended? And since it was a Native American, Trumps talk is even more disturbing!

I have some Cherokee in me, not sure how much, but next month I am going to shell out the money for that 22andMe DNA testing thing or whatever the company is called.

But who is offended the most? I can't sit here and argue with someone like PP92 is wrong when it comes to saying things are not racists against black people. I have no personal issues with sports teams being named after Native Americans, one reason is I one of the two major nationalities in me is Irish, I don't complain about Notre Dame Fighting Irish. BUT, I do see where something like Redskins would be offensive. BUT also, the last time I checked about 90% of Native Americans have no issues with sports teams being named after them. However I do not know about their opinion only on the name Redskins.

But back to the point, Trump need to grow up, he is the republican nominee, there is no need for him to act like an 8 year old and insult and call names to people who appose him, what other republican nominee would talk towards people like this? I say no one.
