Fair point, but one person has told me this firing came from Central Office. In other words the Principal was told to fire him.

 

If that's true, then my opinion of this decision sinks even lower, if that is even possible. Just shows a continued disconnect between what the Central Office thinks is best for Central and reality. They don't make many decisions at all that are in our best interest.

 

Makes me wonder if reality began to set in that the renovations that the board fought against but finally gave are going to be for nonexistent teams.

Anyone out there in the know as far as any other info regarding this situation? How are the players feeling at this point? I would begin to think that the players on the team would have to look at their options from this point forward. If I'm a senior, do I stay the course and play for yet another head coach or do I seek out stability in another program? It would have to be done within the confines of the transfer rule, but there are several programs in the surrounding area that have stability and would give what Warren Central has not provided in the past several years. If I'm a kid with the ability and looking to continue my career at the collegiate level, I would have to think its time to look for greener pastures.

Who in the world would want to take a job following the last two coaches, both of whom were fired after their FIRST seasons?

 

Plumber discussed the future for players. Their the ones who are hurt the most. The KHSAA should consider transferring options for the kids who are looking at their 4th coach in 4 years. Is that going to help stabilize the program? Absolutely not, but NOTHING the administration or the Central Office has done a single thing to help those kids!

There is always someone who will apply, there is always someone who will take the job just to say they are a head coach. Just the reality of the situation

Does Warren County have open enrollment or school choice for freshmen? Or did everyone flock to the new school?

I hate it that what appears to be politics is playing the biggest factor in what should truly be an enjoyable game for the kids. I may be riling some people up, but if I'm a parent or a player, I consider a legitimate move if its possible. Its worth it to look up the road at Butler County or to Allen Co or any number of places that have had stability in their staff and coaches for several years. It just makes sense that the places that have stability are also the ones that are consistently competitive and winning right now.

Wonder if the Coach at the school that Stevenson came from is on his way to BG? From all reports he is very close to him and wants a winner.

Does anyone know what meeting on Wednesday is about? I have heard that several kids are trying to transfer to various school. How low of a number before they cancel season? I don't understand how administration thought letting Stephen's go would help program. This was a problem you could see 4 years ago low middle school numbers and lack of youth involvement .

I'd guess that any kid transferring will wind up at South Warren, Greenwood or BG.

Unless I have misjudged Coach Stephens (I have no evidence indicating I did), how is it fair to players to continue to ride this roller coaster at WC?

Also, if they hire within do they have to wait the full 30 days?

"Fair"? How is any of this "fair" for Warren Central? And I'm a BG fan speaking for WC, so you know it must be skewed.
