April 27, 201610 yr After last nights results will Donald Trump be the Republican nominee? I know several on here said early on there were no way, but guys it sure is looking like it. Seems like after the Cruz/Kasich deal he has gotten stronger.
April 27, 201610 yr Indiana is Trump's last hurdle. I'm anxiously awaiting polling data from Indiana that accounts for the Cruz and (1 for 43) Kasich marriage. I suspect the GOP electorate is going to reject collusion. In the NY primaries, democrats were trying to cross over to vote for Trump. Trump can turn NY red and NJ, PA and CT into states that Clinton will have to spend money and time to defend. The whole red state/blue state map will be redrawn.
April 27, 201610 yr It's certainly looking that way. Oh well, 4 years of Hillary it is. That sure is what the illegals are hoping for.
April 27, 201610 yr That sure is what the illegals are hoping for. I wonder how well Hillary's open borders message will play in Ohio once the dots are connected that cartel assassins massacred an entire Ohio family.
April 27, 201610 yr I wonder how well Hillary's open borders message will play in Ohio once the dots are connected that cartel assassins massacred an entire Ohio family. That will be an impossible angle to play in Ohio. Who wants to connect themselves to a family that was murdered because they were apparently into illegal activity like "rooster" (word filter issue) fighting and drugs?
April 27, 201610 yr I doubt they were killed over roosters. The cartels in Mexico are not in that area of chicken fighting, its more in the areas of Ariz and Texas. Now the pot, maybe, but I highly doubt the roosters were to blame.
April 27, 201610 yr I don't see anyway that he isn't the nominee. He's leading in delegates and dominating in popular vote. If he chooses to maintain his normal stance, HRC has to be scared to death of those debates/attack ads this fall. If Donnie chooses to fire away, plenty of targets for him to aim at. 2016 will be the election between the two least liked candidates ever.
April 27, 201610 yr That will be an impossible angle to play in Ohio. Who wants to connect themselves to a family that was murdered because they were apparently into illegal activity like "rooster" (word filter issue) fighting and drugs? Ohio AG says the area has a history of Cartel Activity. Murder Victims were pot growers and killed execution style. Do you think these assassins were in the country legally? This plays right into Trump's border security policy.
April 27, 201610 yr Looks that way. I am not sure even he thought he would be in this position when he put his name in the hat. Unbelievable.
April 27, 201610 yr At this point I really don't know who I'll be voting for but I can definitely say it won't be Trump. I guess this year will be a third party year for me.

Why not just go ahead and vote for Hillary? Voting for a third party will hurt the Repub candidate more than the Dem candidate.
April 27, 201610 yr Im reading these threads and just can't help to laugh. The Trump is kicking butt and only gaining more and more. Momentum every time someone declares him out or conspires against him. I am a huge fan of Trump, mainly BC he is so anti establishment (that's the teenager in me still). But also bc it shows just how much of a joke/circus american politics are and how desperate these career politicians are. We have successful businessman saying whatever he wants to anyone and he's going to potentially be the republican nominee. I have a question though. Did he just wake up one morning 6 months ago and say"I'm bored, I think I'll run for President ".? Or did he put out feelers? I don't recall him being heavily involved In politics.

Trump is a complete political novice. I say that as someone who is a passionate Trump supporter. No one, not even Trump himself, ever saw this coming. He is taking positions based upon the needs of the electorate, and not based upon narrow minded conservative ideology. Trump is is very pro AMERICAN BUSINESS , whereas the establishment is owned by internationalized business interests that have absolutely no concern, interest or loyalty to nation state.
