April 19, 201610 yr Author Cool question -- I'd probably say Costco, just because they have a ton of variety. Could get anything from food, wine/liquor to appliances. The practical side of me agrees with your thinking here. The materialistic side of me wants a 70-inch television with the best surround sound on earth.

April 19, 201610 yr I'm currently in the market for another car, so if I came into $10k, that's my first priority. But if it has to be a store, my practical side says Home Depot/Lowe's. My fun side says Best Buy. My fanduel buddies on BGP like @HammerTime know how close I just was to having $10k an extra $10k stuffed into my pocket
April 19, 201610 yr HD/Lowes: Practically that would be just enough to purchase the new riding mower that we need + upgrade the kitchen counters to quartz. Second choice… I’d have a blast going crazy with 10k in an IKEA (my guilty pleasure).

April 19, 201610 yr Krispy Kreme At $7.99/dozen for Original Glazed, $10000 would be enough for 1251 dozen. If I gave someone 2 donuts each, I would have 7506 new friends!
April 19, 201610 yr My first impulse would be to spend it all at Liquor Barn, eventually (after the wife has her say) it would probably end up being Lowes or Home Depot.
April 19, 201610 yr Home Depot or Lowe's. I need to put a fence up, get a new mower, get other yard tools, and then can get a variety of other things.
