Most of the time they or someone that post something on the site knows what they are talking about? THIS WILL BE OUT TODAY OR TOMORROW IS WHAT I AM HEARING/

This will just be more fuel for the Matt Jones haters from Louisville, but it makes me chuckle that he doesn't want to touch this scandal with a ten foot pole, but will dive all into the Katina Powell mess.

IF he is the ghost writer of the book about this one, he'll dive right in....

I think with this he is holding off because he doesn't know if the rumors are true. With Powell he was reporting on what was written in the book, in which case whether it was true or not he wasn't breaking any potentially false information himself.

I'll side with Jones on this one. Everyone knows the issue but there are no facts yet (police reports, etc). Some pretty big things to throw out there without all the facts.

And people posting "anonymously" about this issue better hope they are accurate. IP addresses and subpoenas are powerful tools.

Jones' sheep don't care about WKU and he knows it. That's the only reason he hasn't said anything.

It has been made public on topix, no names were posted, go ahead and sue

Exactly what I'm saying. Whoever posted that better hope that's actually the issue.

Soccer girl and mens basketball is all that is mentioned. People claiming its all swept under the rug, etc, etc, etc.

I think if a crime is actually committed the police have to investigate, is that right. I dont think a person can just up and say no.

Nothing from the media today, why

The BG Daily News is being extra cautious because they have no confirmations on the record and WKU is a huge partner with their publisher. The last thing a newspaper needs to do is lose a big advertiser in these days of dying newspapers. The BG Daily News will break it when they have all the facts that can be confirmed and people on the record. They know what happened, it's just a matter of how to break it without hurting their partnership with WKU and having paperwork or someone on the record.

One other thing to keep in mind is that if the girl in this case did not file a complaint with the police, there is nothing to be investigated by the authorities. The fact WKU did a on-campus hearing should tell everyone a great deal since there is no police investigation.

Wonder what the deal is if a tape was made of 4 adults and no crime was committed was there any crime or university policy broke? Seams like something is missing as you can do what you want to in the privacy of your own place.
