And Trump accepts that hate, and he stokes the fires too.

I for one am very glad for this whole situation. As the joke on SNL went, Romney said "we Republicans don't say these types of things...we imply them..for decades." Well, now they are being said. And people, protesters, are standing up to it. Good for them. The choice we are about to face in November will transcend economic policy or any tradition election issues. Those issues or more or less bs anyway, not that much difference between R or D when it comes to screwing people over.

So, yeah, I am glad people are getting out, risking their lives, and standing up to a message of hate, discrimination, and crass exploitation of people's fears.

I must have missed something. Did the protesters really shut down the Chicago rally, or did Trump just use the minor skirmishes to his advantage once again? Trump was all over CNN, MSNBC and Fox last night getting free air time. No need to buy political ads when the networks give you free time.

2. As he nears the nomination Trump's rhetoric is being taken more seriously. 2 months ago people said no chance, but as this looks to be a reality people become more concerned. I expect more of this.

 

Hillary, Bernie, Kasich, Cruz, nor Rubio are saying the same thing Big Donald is, which is why they aren't and won't get the same treatment.

Trump's effectiveness will not be to unify the nation, it will be to burn the existing structure to the ground. The Chicago event (and indeed the whole election cycle) is certainly disturbing, but this may well be the 2016 version of what Jefferson meant when he said that "a little revolution now and again is healthy." This country has a cancer, and that cancer is the moneyed-interests that control everything and the establishment politicians that protect them. The only way to deal with a cancer is to shut the body down, poison it, and then jump start it again. That is what Trump may stand for, metaphorically speaking. Even if its just a 4 year-term, his victory can score major damage against the establishment.

Per CNN, this was a large organized protest. I think they said the protesters took up a whole section in the arena. To be fair, Trump or his security people had never seen that many people at his rally who wanted to cause trouble. Im sure they quickly realized they were under staffed to handle that many people.

Watching CNN right now. Kasich says trump has created a toxic environment. So candidates are coming out on the matter against Trump.
