These boys don't quit! Jack Laycock with a Royal Redemption. I want an Augusta Mason County final

Congratulations Jack on a great basket.

I would think about going to Mt Sterling if its an Augusta-Mason final.

Nice W for the Orange and Black!

It would only be fitting that Augusta and Mason meet one more time before both schools lose some great seniors!

It's hard not to love the Panther's never-give-up attitude!

Have you coined this phrase yet coach? If not, I want a slice of the royalties ... could we be looking at an Augusta-Mason County rematch in the title game come Tuesday?

That phrase is the mentality of whole town.....been a fun ride with these Panthers. They believe, and there is not one ounce of QUIT on this team. 39th continues to roll! Two big opponents that both will be heavily favored on Monday night.

Happy to see Coach Kirk having success at Augusta. He was always a stand up guy here in the 12th when he was at Burgin. Wish the best for him and the panthers!

Anyone know who the fan was who got thrown out of the game between Augusta and Scott after the intentional foul was called on Maddox?

In defense of the fan, I have no idea what he said, but the call was blatantly wrong. Snapp gets hammered on offensive end and no call. Guard from Scott drives full speed down the lane directly into Snapp who grabs full ball before contact (so powerfully the driver was not able to elevate). Ref on baseline behind two Augusta players sight blocked to full action and must have thought Snapp wrapped arms around players body. Fans anticipate simultaneous possession with Augusta arrow. Ref comes running out calling flagrant. Blantant bad call. Defensive foul....okay, maybe...but a flagrant, NO WAY. No refs conferring except to call AD and police.

Augusta kids played w emotion and fire...I can see the Panthers making a game of it against MOCO...don't think they've played this year. I'm taking Augusta if it's close.

You mean intentional, right? Flagrant results in an ejection.

Very poor call. Foul yes. Flagrant no way. Almost as bad as the walk call (could have been flagrant foul on Pendleton) on Jones in the MoCo game. Happy for the young man in the Augusta game who hit the shot at the end.

Yea he meant intentional, and I spoke with the fan and apparently he said the magical words to get tossed.
