Took guts for Coach Dale to draw up missed FT, spectacular rebound, swing around perimeter with 3 seniors touching before O. Crawford hits Ollie (Jack Laycock) for one dribble lay in for victory. Wasn't exactly the picket fence, but it was a thing of beauty.

Yes, Carr has had better teams. Unfortunately, his better teams ran up against some great teams, like the GRC team from 2010. This year, while it isn't his best team ever, he has arguably his best player ever and this year all the teams in the region are pretty even....definitely the most winnable the region has been for Scott in my short memory (which only goes back about 12 years).

I'd agree. This was the Eagles best chance at Rupp. Seems like Scott teams, no matter the sport are always in the hunt for regional titles.

Just the way it is....if you have a consistent tool bag you have to spend time managing, instead of just running the game / tournament, then of course you would consider keeping them out. Simple economics of event management. In this case, it's not any reason, it's a demonstrated behavior that you are hedging against. (But it sounds like this person is going to get their second chance, so it's a moot point)
