Some might call this the lowest ranked District winner playing the highest ranked District loser, but the Wildcats & Indians will kick off Thursday night's Quarterfinals in Mt. Sterling.

These two teams met on the same floor back on February 12th, with Montgomery handling Pendleton 81-50. The Cats have a star in freshman Dontaie Allen, but Montgomery boasts a lethal back court in Fuller & Walker--along with outstanding junior forward Jerryd Jones.

Can Pendleton find a path to victory or will Montgomery prove to be too strong?

I have a hard time seeing Montgomery putting another 31 point loss on the Wildcats, but I also have a hard time seeing Pendleton leaving with a win. Indians prevail 66-58.

I like the underdog PC in a close one

Montgomery and Pendleton are becoming quite common in the 10th region tourney.

I'm rooting in my heart for Pendleton County, but my head says MoCo by 10-12.

Pendelton just don't matchup well against moco.

MoCo in a barn burner. If Allen brings his penetration game and hits, or kicks out to Dennie and Walsh this will be a great game. If Allen settles for lots of 3's himself, it will be a long night. Going to be fun watching classic matchup of PGs in Wood vs. Fuller. Could be the telling difference in the game.

Pendleton has to get Allen going early. If Montgomery can contest Allen's shots and offensive drives, PC's only other offense is to try to force Montgomery into a three point shooting contest. If the Indians are patient on offense early and often, they win this game easily. I'm a big fan of Coach Belcher but I can't confidently pick Pendleton. Montgomery County by 14.
