I guess I'm in the minority, but I like Burger King's breakfast. It's not as good as Hardee's but it will do.

Yeah, I'm not getting the hate for BK by some on here...better than McDonalds on most items by a long shot. BUT, the service at the one here in Frankfort is usually pretty bad...and hit rock bottom today.

People earning minimum wage these days have no pride in their work.

Vast majority of drive throughs have workers with no politeness or etiquette. A simple good morning and/or apology for delay goes along way.

 

Chick Filet kills it because they've made it a mission to well serve the customer. Their food is not that much better than others IMO.

And they want $15.00 an hour for that.

Poorest and unhealthy (as well as uneducated) usually go hand in hand...no surprise there.

I stopped off at McD's in Crescent Springs. They have that lovely split ordering system. I gave my order, pulled up behind the guy in front so guy behind me could give his order. Guy at other ordering intercom was giving his order as I'm sitting in line. Guy in front of me moves and I move with him. That's when the guy to my left who had just given his order LAYS on his horn and starts yelling at me about "cutting the line". I instructed him that I had already given my order 3 minutes before him and was in my proper place in line. He continues his barrage to the point I'm getting embarrassed and urinated off. I honestly thought I was going to have to get out of my car and "discuss" it with him. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? This is the second time this month I have had an issue with fast food joints! After we got our food and proceeded to Buttermilk Pike he was right behind me as I was getting on I-75 southbound ramp. When he floored it around me I saw he was from Michigan, enough said. I did give him the "peace" sign as he passed, the British one.

...ordered breakfast, had about 4 cars in front of me. The car in front of me was at the window for a good 5-6 minutes. I had the notion to drive off, but being a good guy I didn't do it as it would mess up there order and the food might go to waste. So I finally pull up to the window, girl looks at me with a rather ticked off look like I had just insulted her somehow, waving her hands all around and says "just go, just keep going we can't take any money we are shutting down"! WHAT! Oh I was freaking fit to be tied!

 

So, I called their corporate office soon as I got in the office...they don't open till 9:00am, calling back as soon as they open, and they are about to get an ear full out of me. And that phone call better end with me getting quite a bit of free food or BK will be off my list.

 

I've walked into Burger King to place an order, because I wanted to eat inside. On three recent occasions, there was no staff at the inside register to take an order. There were no less than 4-5 people standing at the end of the counter waiting on their order. And we were all listening to the arguing going on because so-and-so either was late or did not call in. The staff kept looking at me standing there at the register, almost in disbelief, but made no attempt to take my order. When I said something, one of them finally came over and I told her she was "too late, no sale". CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS DIED A QUICK DEATH.

I really enjoyed burger King back in the day before I had to go gluten free.
