"Sorry for your wait" is part of their greeting, said with no feeling and absolutely no sincerity.

There used to be a Burger Queen in North Corbin at the Trademart Shopping Center, back in the day. There was also one at the south Williamsburg exit. I think both became Druthers.

Sounds correct. Maybe the Maysville BQ was briefly a Druthers; I can't remember.

People earning minimum wage these days have no pride in their work.

 

Vast majority of drive throughs have workers with no politeness or etiquette. A simple good morning and/or apology for delay goes along way.

 

Chick Filet kills it because they've made it a mission to well serve the customer. Their food is not that much better than others IMO.

 

Tipically Taco Bell's people are extremely friendly and polite too.

You wouldn't wait 2 minutes in line? I can be pretty impatient, but if you have even a couple of cars in front of you, you are gonna wait usually at least that long. Of course it's all hind site, I wouldn't have sit there that long either if I KNEW it was going to take that long, then on top of it not get served either.
