February 21, 201610 yr So Kennedy is just making stuff up? You could hear the ref explaining to Bilas and then Bilas repeated it
February 21, 201610 yr You could hear the ref explaining to Bilas and then Bilas repeated it I'll ask the question again.
February 21, 201610 yr Matt Jones @KySportsRadio 4h4 hours ago "Skal speaks more languages than he averages rebounds"....funny and true line by Jay Bilas
February 21, 201610 yr I'll ask the question again. I don't know what Kennedy said I am going by what the ref said to Bilas and He repeated it saying Cal had the choice of the sub and who shot the free throws.
February 21, 201610 yr This is so tiresome. I wish you would root for another team, you don't deserve to enjoy any the success UK has had the last 8 years. I rarely cheer for UK.
February 21, 201610 yr I don't know what Kennedy said I am going by what the ref said to Bilas and He repeated it saying Cal had the choice of the sub and who shot the free throws. Kennedy said he got to pick, and he chose Skal based on the recommendation by his assistant that scouted Kentucky.
February 21, 201610 yr Kennedy said he got to pick, and he chose Skal based on the recommendation by his assistant that scouted Kentucky. And the ref said Cal got to pick because it wasn't an injury. Something is not jiving here.
February 21, 201610 yr A delay of game warning is what I am hearing was warranted in that situation, not a T.
February 21, 201610 yr Here's what really matters...how bad is Willis' injury? The whole season rides on that injury. Next man up will be the call..............in the end the cats are running out of bodies.
February 21, 201610 yr A delay of game warning is what I am hearing was warranted in that situation, not a T. When was the last time you saw a delay of game called for a guy spiking the ball 50 feet away from an official asking for the ball? Never? Right...
February 21, 201610 yr When was the last time you saw a delay of game called for a guy spiking the ball 50 feet away from an official asking for the ball? Never? Right... The ball only traveled about 10 foot and only bounced a little above head high. I thought the T called on the South Carolina player last week in the UK game was bogus as well. Refs should not want to be the show, although a few of them obviously do.
February 21, 201610 yr Next man up will be the call..............in the end the cats are running out of bodies. I think Humphries earned much more playing time with his performance today.
February 21, 201610 yr I think Humphries earned much more playing time with his performance today. No doubt.............but losing that 3rd scorer really...........stings
February 21, 201610 yr And? He spiked the ball and instantly reacted like he knew the consequence. I think it actually might have been allowed to slide if it happened quickly. The spike was several seconds after the play and put the ref in a terrible spot. It is what it is... You're right. It is what it is... Tough spot for a ref to be in at the end of game. But don't 100% confirm that Bilas said the ref "would be fired" if he called it the other way. Especially when video/audio evidence confirms you were completely wrong in what you originally posted.

Do it with the ref right there and asking for the ball? No escaping that one...
