Kentucky HS players or McDonald's All-Americans?

Capital idea! Wish I had thought of it first.

Only so much ignorance one should allow themselves to tolerate willingly...

I agree with you totally. Chris Lofton was supposedly not good enough for UK, but look what he did at UT. Derek Willis another great example. Remember Reggie Hanson years ago? How about Deron Feldhous and John Pelphrey? UK did not want them at first, and now they are known as the "Unforgettables."

They played because everybody left and nobody came during that time.

OK, two years ago. I saw 11 a.m. or 11 p.m. Two years old. Real current.

My man, you are getting close to where you are going to only be talking to yourself.

UK 1978 had 5 Parade All-Americans. Had 6 State Mr. Basketball.

The 5 Starters were from OH, OH, IN, LA, KY.

If they could play at UK, they would be recruited by UK.

Cal don't recruit Kentucky and he doesn't know what a role player is he only knows one and done.

You are right. Cal knows nothing about talent and he should only recruit KY kids.... It just dumb luck he has had success.

Your documentation is a four-year-old story. What about the past two or three years? Not that I care, but I think your defensive stance lets everyone know my points are valid: it's all a big charade calling them "student-athletes" at the one and done schools. .

NCAA - Academic Progress Rate

If a player doesn't attend classes for a semester as you and Bob Knight like to throw out there, the APR would be so low they would get penalized like Tennessee, Syracuse, So Carolina and others have been.

Cal don't recruit Kentucky and he doesn't know what a role player is he only knows one and done.

Dom Hawkins and Derek Willis would disagree with you. I think Cal will always have a Kentucky player on the team.

Check the roster...

Lol at this

Like I said in other post I'll take Carson over anyone. Won't see a player work harder then him... NKU got a steal.. I'll put Carson against "Bam" any day

Please never compare these two again. You're being silly..

Tbh Carson had to Gaurd Briscoe in AAU & Briscoe got mad & got into a shoving match with Carson! Carson's d was to good
I would put Williams against any of those players mentioned as well. I agree with you totally. These recruiting "experts" are the same people who told us the Harrison twins were great players! HAHA

The Harrison twins are also in the league making more money than any of us will ever make. If you would take Williams over any of Kentuckys recruits, than why isn't Cal recruiting him? Don't get me wrong Williams is a nice player. But he does not have the talent to play at a high d1 basketball school..

I'm always happy when a kid gets a full ride for education and gets to continue playing the sport they love, but the Williams boy will most likely if not definitely never see the NCAA tournament at NKU

The "D" League with the Iowa Energy for one, bench time and one season for the other. LOL. Not much money in the "D" League, believe me. Both Harrisons were decent college players, nothing more. Both overrated badly by these "experts" who never played a minute of basketball.

As for Coach Cal and Williams, wait five years and let's see how it plays out. By then, Coach Cal could be in Cleveland with Lebron.

Based on what I saw this year....I wouldnt count NKU out of the Horizon title in the near future.
