My thoughts as well.

 

I get why they are ranked where they are, but I don't think there's 18 teams in this state that would beat them right now.

Thought CovCath and Doss each might be a little higher?

Strength of schedule hurts them both. I do think CCH has a very good team. Doss is beating the teams they should be beating and they have a couple of quality wins this season as well.

These rankings are much better than the Litkenhous Ratings. Christian County and Bowling Green appear to be the best two teams, though Mercer County and Scott County will be factors. It will be interesting to see if Dunbar or Henry Clay can defeat Scott County in that regional.

While I will agree that Christian County should be ranked no. 1 in the state, I fear their soft schedule will hurt them when/if they get to Rupp. I really wish that Bowling Green game wouldn't have been cancelled. Would have been a game they need. Right now they have only played Hoptown and Paducah Tilghman.

 

As far as the rest, I think it is the most accurate poll out.....no surprise there.

This is not to say they are an inferior team, but I do not think Scott County wins the 11th region this year.

 

Inexperience is the reason I think that way. They are an outstanding team and Billy Hicks has done an outstanding coaching job this season.

Thank you! It is not just myself. It is a group effort and this year has been extremely challenging to say the least.

I would assume Scott County will fall next week following their 30 point trouncing at home by Dunbar.

Might be proven wrong tonight at Mad Cent.................but I think Cov Cath is lurking in the shadows............

I certainly think 9th is too low. I also think #1 (in a couple of computer rankings) is too high. Somewhere in between is just right.
