Kansas 90 Kentucky 84 OT

I don't believe KU is the better team. They both are better than Louisville though.

Not sure how the second part is relevant. But typical juvenile shots from you.

Lighten up and enjoy some friendly banter. It's good for you :lol2:

100% agree. How he and Coach K still are allowed to coach just goes to show how much influence ESPN has.

I agree. We need to go ahead and get rid of Rick Byrd and Bill Self too. Thank God Billy Donovan and Bo Ryan took a proactive approach.

Who wants to make a friendly wager on Kansas/Kentucky making it the furthest in the NCAA Tournament?

Whatever you say, Chief.

That's fine if you feel that way. Go Cards!

Ugh. I am not sure I trust either of them enough to take a wager. Would not shock me to see either in the Final Four or out the first round.

I'm saying...regardless of round...I think Kentucky advances farther in the tournament than Kansas. So the bet would be, if UK makes the Elite 8 but KU loses in the Sweet 16, then I win. If it's opposite, you win.

Ditto.

Skal has the confidence to take and make those shots because that is what he's actually good at doing. Asking him to score with his back to the basket? Not so much. Like it or not, that's on Cal. His skill set coming in wasn't a great unknown. Asking him to be a back to the basket guy was never, ever going to work at this stage in his development...

I may be completely wrong on this because I usually don't follow recruits much at all. However hasn't a lot of the top big guys Cal has got not been known as back to the basket type players in high school. For the likes of Cousins, Davis, and Towns i thought I remembet hearing about them being more use to playing outside more and then Cal basically forced them to play down in the post only in college even though their skill set could have allowed them to play outside more too? I might be completely wrong on what I remember on those guys coming in. However if that was true maybe Cal thought he could do the same with Skal?

Obviuosly either way he definitely got it completely wrong with how he has used Skal so far.

Did anybody ever take you up on the bet?

I hope not :thumb:

*cough* Post 70 *cough*

Haha you nailed that one. I'm not sure why Kentucky decided to change things in the tournament. They had a disappointing end to the season.
