In an effort to not jinx Clemson by actually picking them for once, I believe Alabama is going to win 63-(-7). Yeah that's right. That Bama defense is so good Clemson will actually score negative points. That Deshaun Watson is such a bum.

I question whether Coker can put together as good as a performance as he had against MSU.

Bama leads the nation in sacks with 50.

76% of them have come by rushing 4 OR FEWER defenders.

Their front 4 is as solid as any group I've seen. That said, I look for Clemson and Watson to try to use that aggression against them. Kinda like Florida and Spurrier did many moons ago with shovel passes inside to RBs after letting pass rushers come around the edge.

Saban on a mission. Bama by at least 2 scores.

Bama will get to have more practices than Clemson due to school calendar.

Clemson to Have Less Practice Time Than Alabama for National Championship Game | Bleacher Report

Last season, Ohio State benefited from this rule ahead of its College Football Playoff title game against Oregon, as the Ducks had less practice time than the Buckeyes. Ohio State went on to beat Oregon, 42-20.
I'd hope the NCAA would look at this and in the future give a one week waiver for teams in the Championship game.

I don't think he needs to. All he needs to do is enough to keep the Clemson defense honest.

Bama. Defense wins Championships. Should be a great game though.

I agree with those that think Clemson just is not that good but they have proved that they do belong in the title game.

So I think the two best teams are in the final. I think Bama will win but Clemson has that swagger that most teams do not have when playing Bama. Should be interesting to see how much talking they do before the game (like the did with OKL) and during the first quarter and if they can draw Bama into that type of game.

I think that these two are much closer than a lot of people believe. Clemson loves this role, ranked #1 and an underdog. I honestly believe that this is a "u-pick 'em" type game.

Due to his and Bama's experience in this setting I am predicting Saban / Alabama. having said that I wouldn't count Clemson out at all. These Tigers are no longer the "pulling a Clemson" team. Win or lose they are legit and with as young as that team is with the recruits that Dabo is getting, Clemson is far from a "one season wonder".

Picking Bama but rooting for Clemson.

Alabama by less than a TD

Alabama 27-17.

NCAA waived the 20 hour restriction for Clemson for this week.

The NCAA finally got something right.

Did I hear correctly today that Saban has never allowed a 100 yd. rushing game by a QB since he's been at Bama? That is a statistic that should worry Clemson.
