Wonder what the point of starting this topic was anyway? Sounds (and probably tastes) like sour grapes.

All kids that transfer just want to win, and play with other great players. I dont blame them!

At the end of the day if transferring brings joy to the parents and kids hearts then so be it. Once their kid takes his final shot then they can go back to their own lives and stop living vicariously through their kids.

Not every player that transfers does it just for the sports. Maybe some of the well known names, but some younger up and coming players transfer also. Academics and all around better school atmosphere can be a big part.

Volatile topic. Parents and kids should make the best decision for themselves based upon multiple facets and not just sports IMHO........

I transferred my kid from Burgin to Boyle County when he was in the 7th grade. He's a sophomore now. One of the best decisions I have ever made.

There were quite a few reasons for it and basketball was definitely one of them. The main reason was so he could live with me instead of his living with his mom.

Sports should be a consideration when you decide where to send your child to school but the only problem is sometimes that conflicts with the rules.

Add them to it then.

Doesn't Greenup and Rowan have transfers this year? Is Morgan the only team in the 16th that gets transfers? I thought a lot of teams get transfers in each year. I honestly don't even know why people bring up the subject. If it is done legally and proof can be provided that the kid resides there, is there really anything that can be done about it? I guess it's just something for people to complain about. A kid can leave for prep school for their Sr year and not much is said about it. Heck who wouldn't want their kid or any other that has potential to better themselves?
