No thats not what I am saying. I am saying the direction we have went since the last presidential election is to Hades and Obama has divided us as a nation. Do you not agree with that. Do you not see a pattern that started in the middle east pretty much after the second term started? Arab Spring? Read about it. That just did not happen by chance. It spread right across the middle east and then right into our own country to a certain extent. Each country was divided and most went into civil unrest, some are still in civil wars. We( the USA) had a hand in that crap I would bet my life on it and look no farther than the man at the top. When in history has this country ever been so divided? There were always divisions, but in the last four years this got really bad divided. United we Stand, Divided we Fall. Someone has to change this, and quick or like I said earlier we are schlonged. :lol2:

 

The Middle East situation did not begin with Arab Spring. It did not begin when we went to Iraq. The situation in the Middle East is a centuries old mess. While on some fronts it's worse now, in many ways it just seems worse. We've never had the access to instant information we do now. We were able to remain removed to the realities because we didn't have 24/7 access to information.

 

And in my lifetime, at least in my lifetime of political awareness, the country is the most divided it's been since the Vietnam War. And I actually believe that divide makes this current divide look like childish tantrum throwing. ..on both sides.

 

What I get out of this current divide? We've reached the point that everything is all about us...not as a county, but as individuals. We are afraid someone is going to get something they don't deserve. We have to pay for stuff we don't want to. We don't vary about "the other" guy, because we believe in personal reapinsibility. And it goes for both sides of the aisle.

 

Compromise is a dirty word. Rudeness and disrespect are encouraged because to be polite, respectful and concerned about how our actions and words is considered PC...and God forbid we be PC.

 

We enjoy others missfortunes. We tune in to watch people's unimaginable let grief. We turn on the 24/7 news channels to watch tragedies unfold. We Google videos of shootings and watch them over and.over, arguing over the smallest details..

 

We get in arguments with people we've never met on social media sites...in public. We say hurtful, horrible things to each other because we don't have to look the other person in the eye when we say it. We wrote ambiguous comments. HOPING someone will be offended so we can act aggrieved.

 

The divide during the Vietnam War at least had moral thread. And it (I believe) laid the path to the way we participate with each other now politically. Only now...we're just trying to shout each other down. All we want is for our "side" to win...at all costs.

Trump supporters are tired of the constantly growing hand outs.

 

They felt Bush spent like a drunken sailor and then Obama made Bush look like an amateur at spending

 

They are tired of the president looking weak i.e. the stupid bowing, bs apolohiding etc..

 

If I think about it I could come up with plenty more but I am at a Christmas Eve Eve function but the above are big on his supporters list.

 

As I mentioned, Trump is not my first, second or third choice but if he were elected it wouls not bother me, I would certainly take him over the current White House occupant and over Hillary and Bernie.

The middle east situation started long ago I agree with that, but what I refer to( Arab Spring)did not.

 

I am tired of political correctness. I am tired of paying for deadbeats that wont even look for a job.( I am for helping those that need help). I am tired of the immigration problems. I am tired of being divided. I am tired of seeing people totally disregard facts to further the "cause". I am tired of anyone thinking they are owed anything other than a chance to succeed. I am tired of living in a entitlement society.

 

As a Christian I am tired of the sinful, detestable, abominable things that is being applauded by people who claim to be Christians. I am tired of pastors of churches who are to scared to preach the truth because they are scared they will offend someone. I am tired that the "Golden Rule" is so far gone that kids today dont even know what it is.

The reason that Trump resonates with so many is that he understands what Americans don't want. Americans don't want a military that has been reduced to a skeleton of what it once was. They will no longer tolerate a swinging door immigration policy that allows millions of illegal aliens to reap the benefits without contributing to our society. They also perceive Trump as financially savvy.

 

Trump is a correction if you will, he's the exact opposite of the presidents that we've had for the last 15 years.

 

I still don't think that Trump will survive a republican establishment that has decided that he is not one of them.

 

I expect either Rubio or Cruz to emerge as the republican nominee and I will support either.

I will, but I'm signing off now because I want to get up early and get to Evansville to see my girls. THEY are what is RIGHT in the world.

I have yet to decide on which candidate will get my vote in the primary. A lot will depend on who is left in the field by the time our primary rolls around. I suspect the field will be down to a small handful by then which will make the choice somewhat easier. One thing is guaranteed though. In the General, I will vote for whomever wins the Republican nomination.

 

I think that the same pendulum that swung rightward after Jimmy Carter will now give us a GOP win regardless of who the nominee is. People are fed up with the Liberal agenda being shoved down their throats and are ready to throw Democrats to the curb. Obama has divided us more than any President in my memory. His leftist policies have set the Democrats up for at least one term of GOP rule in the White House.

 

Any of the GOP candidates would be better than any of the Democrats who will just further divide us and push us toward the Socialism that the left embraces. So be it Curz, Rubio, Trump, Fiorina, Christie or any of the others, even if they are not my ideal candidate, they will be getting my vote.

I don't really know that I like Trump or any of the other Republican candidates for that matter, but I would vote for ANYBODY before Hillary Clinton. Heck, I'd welcome Bill back into the White House before I would want her there as the President.

I really don't know who I will vote for. Thus far it's been nothing but a crap sandwich from both the republicans and the democrats. I can tell you there is no way I would ever vote for the likes of Hillary or Sanders and I can't see myself voting for Trump. Could be possible I vote third party this time.

Rand Paul is the only one I'd vote for, so third party it is....again.
