I like Rubio and Cruz both. I like Trump third. I also like the brashness of Trump to say what everyone else is thinking and are scared to. I will vote for whoever it is in the General election although I might flip to straight Trump based on he cannot be bought. I am almost at that point now.

 

A lot of folks who don't get how "the Donald" is doing so well simply do not understand how important this is to many people. Face it, he is the ONE politician running right now that will not be beholden to a bunch of donors if he/she wins. Like him or hate him (and depending on the day, I do both) you cannot overestimate how important this is to many...

That's just not true though. A lack of corporate donors is the bedrock of Bernie's campaign. Trump's lack corporate donors goes hand in hand with his lack of any sort of policy position outside of bluster.

 

Prior to his campaign Trump only talked about two things. How awesome he is and how much money he makes. I just don't see how he stays some sort of lone wolf as the campaign moves forward.

They think he will rebuild our defense. They think he will end political correctness thats destroying our nation. They will not vote for a socialist nor a liar like Hillary who should be in jail not running for President of the United States. They think Mr Trump does not lie and he believes he can fix our problems.

I'm just trying to envision any direction that people want America to move toward, where Trump is a good choice. And I think question is a fair one. I think it's one we need to ask ourselves as Americans. We have become a very polarized citizenship. And I'm not sure how the hell anyone thinks Trump will solve that particular item, amongst the host of other issues we face. Are we so polarized that we want to lose dignity, civility and move further away from bipartisanship to solve our issues? Are we so far down the rabbit hole we're ready to thrust aside the idealogy that the very first immigrants embedded into not only our culture, but our founding documents? Are we so far gone that the man with the most money is considered the best to lead the country?

 

I'm distressed, to be honest with you. I feel like our "instant" society is ready to jump off a cliff and hope the parachute opens, because they don't like the hard climb that is the other option.

Oh...and I think Trump is very cunning and knows how to work the system with self-promotion. I'm not convinced he's any sort of genius. I still say if anyone is a candidate for POTUS based on self-promotion, how much money they make, and how they turn lemons into lemonade, Kim Kardashian fits the bill. He's just as bad.

No thats not what I am saying. I am saying the direction we have went since the last presidential election is to Hades and Obama has divided us as a nation. Do you not agree with that. Do you not see a pattern that started in the middle east pretty much after the second term started? Arab Spring? Read about it. That just did not happen by chance. It spread right across the middle east and then right into our own country to a certain extent. Each country was divided and most went into civil unrest, some are still in civil wars. We( the USA) had a hand in that crap I would bet my life on it and look no farther than the man at the top. When in history has this country ever been so divided? There were always divisions, but in the last four years this got really bad divided. United we Stand, Divided we Fall. Someone has to change this, and quick or like I said earlier we are schlonged. :lol2:

Trump supporters are tired of the constantly growing hand outs.

 

They felt Bush spent like a drunken sailor and then Obama made Bush look like an amateur at spending

 

They are tired of the president looking weak i.e. the stupid bowing, bs apolohiding etc..

 

If I think about it I could come up with plenty more but I am at a Christmas Eve Eve function but the above are big on his supporters list.

 

As I mentioned, Trump is not my first, second or third choice but if he were elected it wouls not bother me, I would certainly take him over the current White House occupant and over Hillary and Bernie.
