Nine seniors have been nominated for The Associated Press’ Kentucky Mr. Football award. Here is the list with their stats from the 2015 season. The winner will be announced later this month:

* Lamarius Kinslow, Fern Creek, wide receiver/linebacker, committed to Western Kentucky

Of those nominated, I've got to go with Kash Daniel.

Congrats to Rodjay Burns from Trinity. In my opinion, the best 2 way player in the state that may have the potential to play both ways at UL. Rodjay was a huge part of what we accomplished at Trinity over the past 4 years - especially in a really big way against Ensworth, Brentwood, Lafayette, Male (2) and X (2) this past season. Teams had to game plan to stay away from him on defense and keep an eye on him at WR. Also want to mention he didn't play the 2nd half of 5 games this year. Stats don't tell the whole story.

 

Big honor just to be nominated. Congratulations to all the men on the list. I've had the chance to see Kinslow, Shelton and Alstatt. State of KY would be proud to have any of them as our Mr Football.

Amazing...

Pretty impressive across the board. I think its between Daniel and Burns though. For the Daniel argument, 37 TDs and 4 take aways to im certain less than 10 thurnovers, is pretty impressive. Burns is a play maker as well and the kids from Pulaski is one of the best QBs to come out of the Mountains, Baker is crazy explosive, but imo, didnt have the year many thought he would and neither did his Tomcats. Tough call here though.

While I would love for Burns to win it, a player from T, X or Male has to be heads and shoulders above everyone for years before they win this.

 

I'd put my money on Daniel.

Congratulations to all nominees. It's an honor indeed just to be nominated. That said, I have a hard time believing Daric Pugh from Pikeville wasn't at least nominated. Numbers:

16 tackles

 

1A Championship game MVP with 25 carries for 243 yards and 2 TDs.

 

But before anyone accuses me of bashing anyone, I'm not. Just putting his numbers out there. From the nominees on here, I have to believe it's between Kash Daniel and Riley Hall most likely.

Luke Woods from Whitley County is a pleasant surprise. The Colonels weren't very good, but Woods kept them in a lot of ballgames.

Daric Pugh from Pikeville should have been nominated.Probably one of the best if not the best running back in Ky.Congrats to the nominees.Hope Kash wins.

I have not seen any of the nominees play in person but looking at stats alone I'm going to have to say Kash Daniel is the winner.
