2015/16 KY Boys Basketball Stat Leaders

Why don't they do assist leaders?

Why don't they do assist leaders?

Because the KHSAA doesn't tally assists. Only shooting percentages, points, and rebounds.

Would be nice to have Shot Block leaders also. But I know they probably don't track that neither.

Would like to see what Mason Faulkner from Caverna is averaging! If their stats were updated to represent all games he would likely be leading the state at around 40PPG (unless his numbers have really dropped off in the past few games).

Is Dontaie Allen(Pendleton County) a freshman?

Through his first four games he was averaging almost 44 points a game. Had two games in the 50's. That's pretty good.

But they do keep track of blocks somehow as they have single season blocks records and career blocks records.

I've always said the same thing. I'd love to have seen where Timmy Taylor ended up on the all time list.

Yes

Wow; that's very impressive...don't mean to marginalize his accomplishments but is the competition in his area good. Over 20 pts a game for a freshman is incredible

Only thing that troubles a lot of our coaches is the fact it is a requirement to post them on the KHSAA, which is great for the kids and teams, so why in the world would you not have assists, steals, and blocks. Makes coaches have to do 2 separate stats for the year. Recognize everything if your going to be a pompous butt about it. Would love to see that change by next year and no reason that it is not.

If my math is correct, Jake Ohmer of Scott is averaging an even 36 ppg.
