Just made a $1 bet with a co-worker. She thinks that the new Star Wars will break Jurassic World's US Opening weekend record of $208,806,270. I'm not confident but I said it would not break the record.

You will get trounced.

The other dentist in this office took this day off long in advance for the "premier" of this movie. He's gonna be decked out in some sort of garb. Named his kid after one of the characters.

Another reason I don't ever associate with other dentists.

95% on rotten tomatoes. I'd say that alone will sale a few more tickets for those who were hesitant.

CNN reported this morning that the movie made 100 million on the first screening day. That's before it opens to the public today. ( I think I heard that right).

Its getting rave reviews from everything I've seen. One reviewer on Fox News this morning said it was the best Star Wars movie of them all.

Yeah this movie is going to smash records. It's going to have Titanic's opening with 2015 prices.

I saw where someone that saw the premier tweeted that they cried, they laughed and they applauded.

Seeing it tomorrow at noon with my boy...hoping to not be let down.

FWIW there will be at least 1 SW movie each year for the next few years.

December 16th, 2016 - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

May 26th, 2017 - Star Wars: Episode VIII

May 25th, 2018 - Star Wars Anthology: Han Solo

2019 - Star Wars: Episode IX

2020 - Star Wars Anthology: Boba Fett

I have never seen any of the movies but he named his kid Zam. No clue who that might be.

I assume he adopted the kid? Hard to have a kid when you're a virgin.

Just got home from watching it. Amazing!!

youngest saw it last night and really liked it. Said it was SRO.
