How in the world do you go up there and look at three strikes?

That is UNREAL BP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:madman: :madman:

The Reds could have really have padded their lead on this trip, but believe it or not they still hold a 1/2 game lead in the Wild Card. Everyone is back in it though, with the exception of the Pirates, Nationals and Cubs.

I don't understand how he cant swing and take 3 straight strikes.

There is no way you can predict any of this mess...

Reds wouldn't have been in this game if it wasn't for BP. He had a good game, but anything close you hve to swing. This road trip is killing the Reds.

Is there anyone out there who wouldn't take GT's hope for a 4-6 road trip now?

If the Reds go 1-4 in their next 5 games they'll finish 5th or worse in the Wild Card standings at season's end. With so many teams stacked up, and 3 games with wild card runner-up San Diego looming, one can't say enough about how important these next 5 games are.

The Reds players can make their reservations for Winter vacations. Wildcard maybe, but no way will they overtake the Cards. The Cards lose 8 straight on two different occassions and are still in 1st. I would love to see the Reds at the top but I do not see it happening. They were there with every chance but were their own worst enemy.

Three days ago we were tied for first in the division. I know the last few days have been tough, but don't throw in the towel/hit the panic button. There are 30 games left! Several teams have gotton hot/gotton cold and we are awarding division/wild card champions every three days depending on who's hot. The Reds have been consistent this year with inconsistency. They may lose 3 in a row, then turn around and win 3 in a row. The next few days are important and this certainly brings back bad West Coast Swing memories, but after the Padres the Reds schedule is horrible so they could easily stay in this race regardless of the next few games.

If they go 0-5 does that guarantee world series? Every game is important from here on out. The Reds are still 1st in the Wild Card correct?

Often hard to stop on road trips, once the slide starts...

I agree, these next 5 games could decide the WC, given the current log jamb.
