Trinity and Highlands accumulated the exact same amount of points, therefore generating a tie. They both have won the same number of state championships. Their playoff wins and district championships are almost the same. I'm giving the nod to Trinity on the virtue of four extra playoff wins and one more district championship.

 

I'd rather send my kid to Highlands where he might get coached up. As opposed to Trinity where he gets lost in the shuffle. (On purpose)

Have you ever been associated with T? Have you ever watched a practice? All the kids get coached up. If your good enough to play then that is who starts.....I see you also threw in MIGHT get coached up by Highlands coaches, I'm pretty sure they coach up all their players as well

First, he's not one of ours. Hahaha! And then Freshman! Talkin about "freshman" hahaha! It's alright that Highlands and T are tied. Really, it's alright. Both quality programs academically and athletically. I guess first to 24 wins my friend!

And it will always be that way. Same for me - miss making that trip up to Ft Thomas. Again, should have known better after reading and then responding.

What's crazy looking at the numbers is that Trinity has won 23 titles in 47 years. Didn't realize last year's title was 23 in 46 years. That's ridiculous.

Sounds about right. Trinity did it in less time too. But there is argument that the Birds have done it as smaller school playing up at times. I think the Trinity national championship is what really gives them the nod. As a Highlands guy it is an honor to be listed in the top two.

Trinity had exactly the same amount of time as Highlands. They were around several years before the start of the playoff system used as a basis for this calculation. Although HHS obviously had an advantage of a large head start in building it's program prior to the start of the playoff era.
