Come on. Go to any news site that allows posting of comments....especially the ones like the Cincinnati Enquirer. Look up articles related to news like this and see how many xenophobic comments are posted. Or better yet check out some Facebook pages....folks are posting meme's and lots of other stuff that isn't exactly fostering relations. Fear of being vilified ain't stopping people from saying things publicly.

 

I wonder if those same people who are making these comments online are actually verbalizing their same comments? Point is, there are a lot of keyboard warriors out there who put out a lot of ridiculous statements, but when confronted with the issue in real life, would be hesitant to make those same claims. Social media will be the down fall of our society, and yes I am aware that I using social media to make that claim. :isurrender:

Since these two clearly wanted to kill, they would have still attacked, but they wouldn't have walked thru the front door. My guess is they would have softened the target with a few bombs before making their entrance.

 

Being armed would clearly get them thinking before attacking, but their desire to kill would drive them to use other devices. (Bombs,cars,poisons, ect ect)

This goes back into the gun debate but the only thing that stops a non lawbiding nut with a gun is somebody with a gun. Those little signs on the front door that say no firearms allowed don't stop a nut. The sign might as well say we support the slaughter of innocent people, enter at your own risk.

Whha...whhatt? The state couldn't save people? What a lot of people don't realize or can't comprehend, is that police usually show up at the point to investigate and clean up the scene.

Very few, if any on here, have accused all Muslims of being Terrorist even though many keep claiming that all Muslims are being grouped together. Everyone realizes that Radical Extremist are the danger and the ones carrying out attack in Paris and around the world. Yes, MOST Muslims are peaceful and are great people...that doesn't mean some aren't. No more than it doesn't mean that even though most Christians are peaceful and great people...that some are not.

Without police, a lot more people might have died here, in Boston...etc. they can't predict the future, but they did an outstanding job hunting down and stopping these terrorists.

 

With that said, I think everyone should be prepared to defend themselves.
