As I mentioned last week in a thread, the people who are vulnerable to be attracted to these groups and what they do see a 100% compliant wife, the wife will do whatever her husband tells her to do.

In using line wolf as meaning no help from Al Qaeda central command or any member of the group. They they were inspired by the group. The bombs were not high tech and the remote control cars are not what someone who is familiar with bombs would use as they can be set off by too many things while building them or transporting. Even with him possibly having contact with a person on the watch list, as if he was working directly with one of these groups or a member, he would have been able to get a decent grade of explosives.

 

This weekend I'll ask an instructor that I know, some of the courses he teaches deals with bombs searching, identification and such.

 

But this is what we are faced with, there is a high threat of more U.S. citizens doing this. As I said in the past one of my worries is that one of these kids who go on a shooting rampage at a school will somehow look into these terrorist playbooks, and or contact these groups and get help.

 

This is exactly the kind of person isis goes after. The longer you allow isis to roam freely in the MS the more likely some kid/persons will try to hook up with the group from inside America.

I have a question for everyone on this forum. If you know you have someone that is a known enemy and you know that if given a chance that they will kill you randomly, why would you not want to see what makes them tick?

 

We all know this is radical Islam and they are stirred by leaders that are what? The Imans are guided by what? The Quran. Where do you think this ideology comes from. The Prophet Muhammad. Where are his writings and instructions for his believers( everyone else is a non believer)? The Quran.

 

Now that we have determined that we have a group of killers that would love to kill you and your family, and know what they are guided by at the core, then why would anyone not want to see what it says to get a better understanding of who you are dealing with and exactly what a very very large group of people that are living among us is using as a guide for everyday life?

Why do you feel that you (a Christian who has read the Quran) have a better understanding and interpretation of it than the vast majority of those who follow the Islam faith? Wouldn't you, as a Christian, scoff at the notion that a Muslim who had read the Bible had a better more informed understanding of its teachings than you?

UKMustangfan I dont think I have even a inkling of better understanding of the Quran than Muslims. All I was pointing out is if you read my post above that was my reasoning to at least try to figure out whey someone would strap a bomb belt on and blow them self up. Those verses I posted were also not taken out of context.

My main point is, if you take certain verses from the Bible and interpret them literally, it can make Christians look pretty radical and ridiculous as well. Most Muslims don't take those verses literally. Obviously some do, but some Christians take the more extreme positions of the Bible literally too.

I understand that. I really do. But we are not dealing with a mass group of Christians doing things like this. But we are Muslims. Can we agree on that? I mean we have a group controlling basically a country. Every day they release a new video claiming that they will kill, and kill they do. You do not see Christians doing this do you?

Obviously not. The extremists are more extreme than the extremist Christians it seems, however we did just have a Christian shoot up a PP. It happens with every religion. I'm just not willing to condemn an entire group of people because of the actions of the minority.

I think a vast majority agree you can't condemn all Muslims. That is what a vast majority agree on. What we can't agree on is calling the problem what it is, radical Islam. If we want to call a Christian a Radical Christian by all means go ahead.

 

But if we are being honest with ourselves sure there are some crazy Christians. But there isn't a vast network of Christians bombing non believers , or an Army of Christians taking over the world. or Terrorist Christians going into countries across the globe and murdering people.

 

There are evil people in every group on this planet we can all agree on that. But we also have to agree that there is a problem in the world right now where there is a much higher ratio of these evil people and we call that Radical Islam. Again not all muslims but if we are going to solve a problem we must identify the problem.
