It's a horrible nightmare for the families of those killed, that goes without saying. But how would you like to be this guys brother? A decorated veteran who was decorated with honors for fighting terrorism, and here you find out your own brother was radicalize.

Nobody is telling you to be pc. You just happen to conveniently push aside that the Bible is used to validate radical Christian beliefs. As I said:

 

You are talking about using passages from a religious text to validate ones beliefs and specifically what we would call radical beliefs. The Old Testament is used for that.

 

We will dismiss the parts about using it to validate beliefs on homosexuality as you are right that probably is too far away form the subject at hand.

What are they following then? You tell me why they are doing what they are? I posted a article that answers what ISIS is about and what they want. Lets hear your thoughts on why this is happening? Dont be the person who always are telling someone else they are wrong, bring some solutions or answers and how we fix it. I want to hear your take. I have given mine with links about what the Quran says, a link to what ISIS is and wants and the reasons behind it. I have listened and watched their videos with their claims and I have heard them shout Allah Akbar when they are killing innocent people in the name of God and wage Jihad as outlined by the prophet Muhammad in the Quran. Those are my reasons for saying the things I have said. Now its your turn, let hear it. The floor is all yours. Put up or shut up.

Agreed, that she pledged her allegiance to IS, if they would have been directly involved this would have been a lot worse.

I think that people can be evil. I think people will use religion --- be it Christianity, Islam, Pastafarian, etc --- to justify their actions to themselves.

 

I don't like Islam anymore than I do Christianity (I am kinda down with Pastafarianism). But I can see that the people who carry out these attacks are the minority, not the majority and do not represent the religion as a whole.
