I can't recall Workman going both ways since the Ashland game.

JC Alumni 76 is correct. Workman no longer plays both ways. Blanton and Tyrese Allen play both ways.

I should also note South Warren played 9 home games (not counting the two that will be played at WKU - would make it 11 if you did count them) while Johnson Central only played 6 home games and 1 less total game. Yet JC's opponents managed to get 18 more wins and have 17 less losses. Had JC played the same amount of games and defeated a team that was 0-10 in that game, their opponents win/loss would still be better. Again, just food for thought.

Something is not right on your numbers for win/losses. Explain where you got them please.

 

I have the 10 game season for south at Opponents with 55 wins and 64 losses for South and throughout playoffs for all 14 games its 83 wins and 86 Losses.

 

Johnson Central for 9 game Season its 53 wins and 51 Losses and for the 13 games played its 84 wins and 70 Losses

You also omitted the Shelby County win from South as a good win. They were ranked #4 in final BGP Poll and had the best record of any team South played.

 

Yes south played all their playoff games at home they got help from Franklin Simpson who defeated Hopkinsville at Hopkinsville who was ranked #6 in final BGP rankings.

I would add Shelby to that list. #2 in state IMO going into playoffs. Better than those JC teams other than maybe Belfry.

Shelby was a great win for South.. it came down to experience and being able to play in the big game.. you have kids who haven't seen a regional final game and definitely not a state semi finals. South has been there. You take away the two scared mistakes before the half its 14-0 ball game .If Shelby can fill some holes I expect another big year if the staff and team remains in tact next year!

 

Souths defense is unreal JC will need to spread the football to have a chance. The offense is disciplined and good at running the ball if JC has some hogs in the box could create an issue. If the don't have enough beef south will roll with no problem.

Allen has been huge in the backfield as of late. Definitely one of the bright spots that came out of the Belfry game. Mixing it up between Slone and

Tyrese for bruising yards has been refreshing.
