I quite enjoy seeing this the first week of December, ready for it to return on Monday. Death, taxes, and Mayfield taking the field at LT Smith stadium.

I agree totally. I actually UNDERestimated the size of our O-Line. LT 6'7", 285 (not 250-260). LG 6'0", 260 (not 230-240). C 5'11", 235. RG 6'2", 310. RT 6'3", 320.

You know your team better than me, but I'm not buying 495 lbs between the C and LG. Kids look about a buck sevety-five each, 200 lbs at best. We're talking about #s 72 and 75 right?

Our little 3 man front on D at 195, 235 and 240 is probably going to get pushed all over the place.. 2 of our OL are under 200 LBs.. I sure hope our boys don't get hurt against those brutes..

We only have 1 OL under 200. From left to right we go 240, 250, 190, 250, 240. The 195 er you refer to on the DLine, assuming your talking about MB, will probably not get the start, but will rotate in. I think BA, DM, and JH will line-down to begin the game.

No. I'm talking about two other guys. Number 72 and 75 will play also, and you're right. They are considerably smaller than the other five.

"will play also"? Well, they started last week and played almost every down if that's what you mean by 'will play also'.

I see the Courier Journal has their article up. I also see where "Louisville's" Jason Frakes picks Mayfield 21-20. Not saying this how it will go but.....

We better hurry up and get this game over with or we might actually break the Internet. If the boys give as much effort on the field Friday as the fans have put into this thread, we are all in for a real treat.

Tents are up, smoker is ready for the pig, cars are already starting to trickle in for their spots. Gonna be a good one!!!

Hmmm....not sure about that. The guys I mentioned were the starters all season. Were you looking at the CAL game last week? I can't say - maybe they switched some things up. I guess we'll find out Friday.

I saw that also. This is the best I've felt about the game yet. He picked CAL last week.

This is off the topic, but I just watched the Mayfield-Caldwell County game online. I remember a lot of "banter" on a thread after that one, and I can see why. Several times, the officials seemed confused about this game they call football. But wow, what a game!!! The only blatantly bad call I saw was the Caldwell TD that got called back because the official said the guy who caught the ball was on the line of scrimmage and covered up. He was a good two yards off the line. But I see what you mean about the Mayfield kids. They never quit!

Jason also has us losing to CAL last week....He's a joe palooka sport writer (and he does a good job of it) and he has a job to do. His guess is better than most, not always right....that's why we play still play this game this week.....GO COLTS !
